Otori station is a station where the Hanwa line branch line, Hagoromo line, branches off from the Hanwa line.
There are 3 platforms and 5 tracks in total, the Hanwa Line has 2 island platforms and 4 tracks, and the Hagoromo Line has 1 platform and 1 track. Bus stops 1 and 2 are for Wakayama and Kansai Airport, bus stops 3 and 4 are for Tennoji, and bus stop 5 are for Hagoromo Line and Higashi Hagoromo. The platform of Platform 5 is curved in a way that branches off from the Hanwa Line, and the Higashi Hagoromo side of the platform is located away from Platforms 3 and 4.
The opposite side of the platform with Hagoromo Line/Platform 5 was previously used as Platform 6, but now the tracks have been removed and a fence has been installed on the platform.
