That's why I went with the Pro-line lowering kit. No problems. Didn't even need an alignment after the install.

First of all, the wisdom teeth analogy was genius! Also, I’ve heard both stories mostly that one doesn’t need the arms or bolts, but no one ever follows up like you have. Thank you man for this vid! The mod is still on my radar.

Great video I just did my charger rt a couple of weeks ago with the same springs, so far it's been riding fine but I know from years of experience that once you lower a car you throw all the alignment off, I dealt with the same thing when I changed the entire front suspension on my Shelby gt500 too, even with the camber bolts I still had to install camber plates to get the alignment right, I'll wait awhile and let my charger rt settle then I'll get new wheels and tires and everything else I need for a good alignment, I guess that's the price we pay for our expensive habit.

@JBWHITEGT 3 жыл бұрын
You wont need those camber bolts with a prokit or equivalent spring drop. Anything more than 1.5 drop you will need camber bolts or control arms to do proper alignment.

With the pro kit do you need to change anything or can you use everything factory and just swap out to pro kit springs

@@1323rodriguez Nah you can still run them but your camber will wear your tires out quicker. Your cornering will be better but drag racing may be hindered slightly because of the camber and not having full tire patch on the ground properly. My opinion stay away from sport line or anything equivalent on the Challenger or Chargers. You will scrap on things you shouldn’t. I did it twice. My 17 Challenger I went with HR and I scraped on everything. My 2020 challenger i went with Godspeed springs and they were way better than HR and the drop wasn’t as low. I believe Godspeed springs are made in Japan so most things made there are of decent quality.

@@JBWHITEGT got you but your just looking into so problem later n the long run huh.!? Yea I don’t race or anything I just want that nice low not to high look so I hope the pro kit will be best but what is your opinion on the pro kit will I scrap a lot as well.! Yea I’m not looking forward to the sportline

Challengers don’t have factory camber adjustments. For the rear. The alignment camber bushings. By spc will help. The front you will need upper controls arms

Hey Brother, thanks for the heads up. Not that I needed it, but there are those out there on most of the installs vids and theyare like huh? Didn't drop that much!?!??! and they never take into consideration settle in/break in time, and then they are all confused as to WTF!?!?!? Good job giving all the knucklebusters out there a heads up!

For those of you who didn't get what he was saying...........you see a lot of those young boys riding their ricers with the wheels canted all the way in, that's camber(coil over with adjustable camber, most times). I like how you shared the wealth (most think money) on this. It is just good general knowledge for me I wasn't looking to do this but I am sure someone is. Lowering is more than the cost of the new springs!!!!
