John Skinner Fishing

John Skinner Fishing

6 жыл бұрын

A trophy 12-pound fluke (summer flounder) is caught and released while light tackle jig fishing. A strange looking deformed fluke is caught. A terrible boat fire scene of a fully engulfed burning boat was encountered while returning to port.

I had a fluke that was camouflaged on both sides. It wasn’t a keeper and the phone that had the picture was destroyed by water 7 years ago.It was so neat..I wish I still had the picture. That was a mutant fish that wasn’t weird but, rather a unique thing to see.

Wow that fire was BAD. Fire on a boat is really scary. I almost had the same situation last week when an old lighter stayed on after being put away and torched a paper towel roll and other flammable things. Caught the fire just in time. Was several miles out into the ocean and this was perhaps my worst boating mishap in 20 years. Gotta stay safe.

@@JohnSkinnerFishing If you don't mind me asking what makes for say the Nexus better than the trevala S by Shimano and the quantom better than a high end Shimano bait caster. @JohnSkinnerFishing

Hi, that boat was my family’s boat. It’s was a 1987 25’ Searay Sundancer named boatwiser. We just had it serviced at lighthouse marine in Greenport for shift linkage adjustments and my parents just put in in the water the day after. The blowers where on in the boat at the time of the fire. There was a gas leak coming from the carburetor that we where not aware of. And gas was filling the hull. They where in the middle of turning the boat around to head back when it exploded.
