Make sure you are practicing your scales because that’s what most band directors look for when they are recruiting.

@@ladeiiluck alright thanks alot ill keep on practicing my scales. I was told i need to play a slow piece and a faster piece for recruiting aswell. Im worried because I dont know if i need to memorize them or not

To answer your question, JSU does that with certain songs if they fell it' swings'. They look for the tempo that gives the song its most "groove' factor
