Edmonton fan here, JT is unreal in his work ethic and leadership. Canucks future is very bright. Petey will bounce back. When I think about Edmonton’s first playoffs after sooo long and how many playoff seasons it’s taken for them to get just a little bit better to make it further. Just don’t lose patience, Quinn is going to be unstoppable. These losses will make them stronger.

While yes the game was frustrating to watch for 52 minutes, I’m really proud of this team. Proved a lot of people wrong including Canucks fans, and exceeded expectations. With Silovs emergence in these playoffs and with Lekkerimaki/Pettersson having a good chance to join the roster next season, the future is looking bright.

As an Oiler fan, first off, we have been in your shoes alot over the past few years so just keep fighting and building. Miller was annoying as F to play against but got respect for him sticking with McDavid. I hope Boesner is okay, Silovs is amazing, we won the series this time, but you guys can be the ones moving on next time, well fought series and I personally felt this series was way closer than people thought from the start. Great to see for Canada as a whole.

Nobody showed up for 50 minutes, 10 minute push was valiant. But almost 2 full games of no shows when you're trying to close out a team. Growing pains for sure. Hopefully the boys learn from this and get better.

In spite of our loss to the Oilers, we really tried the best we could at the end! This finish is what matters, love Miller and Hughes brining more passion and strength for next year! We didn't quite make the mark we didnt ever give up! Canucks are a bounce back team we always fight hard! The way you gotta be!

I haven't been watching the Canucks for 9 or 10 years now. I was a fan for 30 plus years prior. I thought the team was torn apart during this time and I had no use for Tortorella, but now...How can you not love this group of guys and I like Tocchet too. They have me hooked again.

The Canucks had a grand total of 2 shots on net in the first period. And that's WITH a 4 minute power play. You can't win a game like that.

Been a Canucks fan since 1993. Long distance fan, lucky enough to see them in Rogers a few times. Obviously disappointed, and I appreciate rivalries and feelings that some folks on here may have towards other teams, and I respect that. For me, this has been a fantastic season watching a great bunch of players and a terrific coach get to the 2nd round. However, I’m now behind the Canadian team left in it. Always rooted for Canada at the Olympics and the Worlds, as the advert said….”It’s Your Game!” Respect to the Oilers, they came out on top, but it was no walk in the park for them. I’m rooting for them. 👍🏴🏒🇨🇦

As an Oiler fan l give the Canucks lots of respect for their effort. I like Miller,Garland,Hughes for their effort passion and think Pettersson is over rated and over paid. Decent core to build on. The Oilers deserve a ton of respect also as their backs were against the wall and showed their grit to come back and win series

It's funny hearing everyone say the same things about Shilovs after these playoffs as Demko after the Bubble run. Demko's games against Vegas were the biggest steals I think I've ever seen night after night in a playoffs. That series should have never gone 7, but it did because of Demko.

First playoff experience for most of the boys, we found our next goalie superstar, we played like we belong in playoffs, with little bit of work and few tweaks in the lineup should get us back in here in no time. Proud of the boys, it was an amazing year!

I know this stings for Canucks fans, but I think this 'no effort' line is both insulting to the Oilers, and even more insulting to the Canucks. Canucks were amazing! What an amazing season they've had... From missing the playoffs to going 7 with an experienced and deadly Edmonton Oilers. The fact of the matter is that this series should have been 4-0 Edmonton, but the amazing fortitude, persistence, and consistency of this team took it to 7. Once the Oilers found their game (game 6) we saw that the Oilers are [currently] a superior team, and they dominated the Canucks. And then there's Silov.... Holy sh*t, that guy is a star in the making. He was absolutely brilliant. So Canucks fans should be thrilled about how their team has performed. As an Oilers fan, I'm glad they won, but man do I respect the Canucks.

The game plan can’t always be to come back in the last period, to much defensive play in the first two periods, they need to open it up a bit more, and rely on the goalie to keep them in the game, good luck next season.

it's very disturbing they didn't show up till late in the game, considering it was a game 7 on HOME ice....this comment section is in full Cope mode. it's going to be very difficult for them to have this type of year next year, when you look honestly at what happened this year. They were essentially a 500 team the last 40 plus games.
