My dream Mercedes of all of them, 1992 I did a dlima project with Daimler Benz in Esslingen Mettingen. I would love to own and drive this marvelous example of German engineering. 😊❤

Cool, a neighbour had a 1985 1000SEL that I thought was a joke when I first saw it in their driveway, but apparently it was Brabus sanctioned. Tough car for its age!

Very cool car, hope you enjoying new old Vehicle... BTW, when light is on on your climate control Auto button, it is switch off (works manually ) Without red light (automatic cc!) Peace and enjoy!

Nice car but ONLY if the wiring harmess whas updated (which you cant even get anymore anywhere btw) …Other then that only the radio needs to go out and its a perfect one. I have 1997 S600 with 118k miles , strong as a bull

There's a gentleman in California that rebuilds the wiring harnesses from scratch. I've ordered a couple of them from him.

Biggest drawback in pre fl is 4 speed auto.. I did in mine fl 0-100km in 6.3s. Btw bose in these are amazing

No the transmission is absolutely not a drawback in this vehicle. One of the best interstate driving vehicles I've ever driven.

@@woodsandbarclay Its not bad but that’s a W126 trans , 5G changes this car on all the power levels. Not to mention that 4G even with a big V12 goes like 3500 rpm just to go 70mph.

@@Mikrrii nothing wrong with 3500 RPM. Not sure why people are always afraid of RPMs. All classic cars run higher RPMs. Low RPMs on the highway is a modern car feature. Modern cars are anemic and boring.

@@woodsandbarclay Its just more smooth at 2500 all i’m saying . 5G also has more tec in it and the whole throttle response , way it shifts and 1 extra gear is just a different car. I owned 4 of W140 and drove 15+ of them all engines, years and trans. Pre 95 ones look more classy no doubt about that but later models feel more alive . I’m just starting with my 1997 S600 restoration ,its a rare 189U color with 2+2 seating , EU import . Its the finest W140 i ever owned yet
