Yesterday I played some of his songs. I spent the whole morning crying remembering someone special to me who already passed away. It was a weird mix of emotion. He was a thief when he was very young and he ended up in a very scary famous jail called Lecumberri (the old type with tons of prisioners and all mixed) He used to sing in the jail and that's how everyone started to know him (some of the famous songs were written in jail) . jail director's wife discovered him and he start to sing in her events and parties. At the end he came out from jail and his career started. Another important thing is that he was built in this extremely homophobic time in Mexico. Juanga was the only gay that had all the homophobic machos singing and dancing listening to his music ❤️
