Everyones fan favourite tube, and My favourite tube stock of them all, the 1996 tube stock developed by GEC alstom and Metro Cammel. It was about time I uploaded these babies!!
These trains really sound like ghosts whaling when they take off. Such a unique noise for a train
I have compiled a few videos of acceleration and the oh so SAVOURY AND SWEET MOTOR SOUND'S !!!🤤🤤 ENJOY

try neasden to wembley park, you will get more and better sound of speed there but great video though

Listen to the SCREAM AND HUMMING of the GEC-alstom traction motors !!! This is known by many enthusiasts and drivers as one of the fastest points of the jubilee line above ground!! Enjoy the clip I spent a significant amount of time gathering footage for jubilee line videos. I had to go outside late so no one would be watching me given how busy the London underground is generally.

Precisely, I love them because of that reason . I think it's the motor ventilators.

Precisely, I love them because of that reason . I think it's the motor ventilators. That's how you know its GEC alstom. At least classic GEC alstom. Modern UK alstom stock is derived from the bombadier aventra fleet. Which is now used by altatom as bombadier gave up their train stock to alstom

I feel like Jubilee line is the fastest out of Central and Victoria line

Victoria line accelerates faster, but 96stock has higher max speed. Also they are 13 years older than 09 stock. Also they more motors per carriage than a 96 stock. The 96 stock has good consistency though.
