Rob Halford carries himself like he regrets absolutely nothing in his life. What a badass.
@kieronwheeler30875 жыл бұрын
He's a member of one of the greatest bands of all time, his band arguably created heavy metal, and then popularised it, and he's still rocking at the age of 67. What does he have to regret?
@Fireteam24795 жыл бұрын
^ Probably the only regret is That the idiots in the Rock Hall never inducted them yet...
@kieronwheeler30875 жыл бұрын
@@Fireteam2479 But that's nothing for him to regret. That's something for a committee to regret.
@smokesletsgo23744 жыл бұрын
@@kieronwheeler3087 He basically attempted suicide in the mid 80's, he was a drug addict and alcoholic, went through rehab, and he was forced to conceal his sexual identity for decades while surrounded by female groupies and a world meant for heterosexuals. His life was not perfect by any means, but he got through it all and was and is the Metal God we all know and love

Still sound great after all these years. Pushing close to 50 years together. Incredible. They put today's groups (if you want to call them that) to shame. As stated below, they are THE Heavy Metal Authorities.

The only problem with your comment is that it means I am 50 years older than when I first heard them 😂
@bloke_19xx338 ай бұрын
@@Randy.E.R IKR, me, too. But, I always find myself going back to the ‘old stuff’ as a means of escapism from the crap today being packaged as ‘music’. I know JP has gone through several personnel changes, but they still sound great. What’s also amazing: the Stones also sound better than ever, and a new generation is discovering them. Such a true testament to their resiliency.

Judas Priest was the first live concert I ever attended. August 2, 1984. I remember it like yesterday. I have seen most of the ‘great’ bands of this era....many were good....but none were better than JP. Funny, I don’t recall a single date of any other concert of any band I went to since and there have been dozens. LEGENDS!

Grand Poobah of Penis. Knew well of priest for a long time. Been getting into it a lot more the last few weeks. Halfords vocals are among the best and somehow havent lost his pitch over the years. Incredible. Only singer I can think of that is in that realm of sounding the same that long is Klaus Meine from Scorpions.
