KK's best leads are live and Tipton's in the studio. KK just takes them to another level and his guitar howls live, where Tipton's live felt too muted into the music.

True. There's a version here from 2018 with Faulkner and Sneap and it's good but instrumental not on this level. However Halford is much better there than on this one. So ideally I'd take Halfords voice from 2018 but definitely this instrumental

Agree 100 percent. Glen and kk downing are great together. They make the band.

Without Glen that song would be without that feel of the whine that comes from Glen's guitar.

Oh that's the most interesting bits of history I red about Priest. I was at that show and found his voice was not the best. I saw Whitesnake there for the 1st time in my life... So amazing to read such an anecdote. How did you learn that ?

While Tipton had the technique and classic touch, KK also had the technique but had the blues soul. Two different styles but complemented each other perfectly.

I like love the fact even while improvising he makes sure to keep the authenticity of the solo. K.K Downing has great control on what he is doing; not to forget his guitar tone as well. Just incredible

He was sick when performing this. He took some mix drink to fix his voice a little bit by a member of white snake. Still rob was giving it all when being sick.

Rob can still sing this, but he was extremely sick this night from what I understand. He did it excellently with his solo act in 2002, and judging by his sound on this years tour, he'd probably be even better on this now than he was in 2002. I doubt it would be at the level of 88, but it would be epic as hell.

I believe that Sinner is one of their best songs. This version is quite well considering the circumstances mentioned. Where i disagree is that the 88 versions is better. I think the 79 -82 era this song was performed at its best from all aspects. After 1984 they decide to speed up the tempo in most of their tours and this song ( the majority of their songs i guess) has more to lose than to win from the tempo change. Just my honest opinion
