Lyrics:
One life I'm gonna live it up
I'm takin' flight said I'll never get enough.
Stand tall I'm young and kinda proud
I'm on top as long as the music's loud.
If you think I'll sit around as the world goes by
You're thinkin' like a fool 'cause it's a case of do or die.
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
If you think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'.
That's right here's where the talkin' ends
Well listen this night there'll be some action spent.
Drive hard I'm callin' all the shots
I got an ace card comin' down on the rocks.
If you think I'll sit around while you chip away my brain
Listen I ain't foolin' and you'd better think again.
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
If you think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'.
In this world we're livin' in we have our share of sorrow
Answer now is don't give in aim for a new tomorrow.
Oh so hot no time to take a rest yeah
Act tough ain't room for second best.
Real strong got me some security
Hey I'm a big smash I'm goin' for infinity yeah.

I was there. Yep. Dallas, Texas. Reunion Arena. In my opinion, a much must better venue for music than the American Airlines Center that basically replaced it. And you could get a great floor seat back then for around 20 bucks. Last time I went to AAC, floor seats STARTED at around 500 bucks. Damn shame what they have done to the industry. Kids can't just decide at the last minute to go and catch a good concert anymore with the money in their pockets. This was one of the greatest shows ever. And we didn't have tickets until we got there. Scalper in the parking lot, they were everywhere. Now you have to have a high speed computer and just hope that you might be able to get a ticket at all, anywhere. Priest loved Dallas, that's why they filmed that entire concert video here. My ears rang for at least 10 days after.

1980 me and a buddy walked into a record store (head shop) and saw a sign behind the counter: Rush tickets $8 bucks. This can't be real, right? We saw Rush at an open air fairgrounds from about 30 yards from the stage gen admin. Yeah, just the cash in our pockets on a total whim. I realize min wage was $3.50 hr. But that amounted to 3 hrs of labor minus the taxes.

This performance never fails to amaze me whenever I watch it. They sounded so razor sharp at live shows, and Rob has to be one of the best frontmen in rock ‘n roll history. Yep. This was indeed back when you needed talent to become famous.

It's a myth to me why people are so obsessed with the word 'talent', isn't it almost an insult? Like saying the artist more or less got lucky with their skill and didn't have to work for it at all.

Loved how rob broke into that dance. Really enjoying what he does best and that's the reason this is music. When I first heard priest in 2001, getting hold of a pirated cassette was the only way for a young boy in Calcutta to enjoy real music. No internet ... No proper shops to buy rock or blues or jazz or metal...
