I went to see my first ever rock band in 1974, that band was Judas Priest. Hell, they were noisy but what an experience it was. Their single just out was Rocka Rolla and nobody had heard of them at the time. There were only a handful of people in the theatre but a few years later they were huge so I’m glad I saw them at the start of their career.

Judas Priest must been some of the most humble bands that ever existed in the Heavy Metal universe. Everyone of them is calm, friendly and have an extremily chemistry on stage.

@Arselpang
@Arselpang 2 жыл бұрын
@@rushshukla4636 Because you know them personally? I was talking on stage, as a group. There doesn't a better guitar duo than Tipton and KK. Every band has there issues, yes! But manage yourself to hold a group together for 40 years something and still be around. They where the ones that move the genre towards a heavier and heavier sound. The guitar harmonics with KK and Tipton is like listening to a dream Ian's bass thundering non-stop in the background. Dave holland's consisent drumming on the records and after that. Scott Travis with his much more technical and heavier drumming. A band is like a relastionship it goes up and down but also has it happy glory days.

You can tell Rob was still fresh from his solo career, performing the songs Heavier than priest does now.. The way these songs were performed at the Valencia show in 2004 was epic.. I remember watching this DVD over and over as a teenager when it came with the Angel of Retribution Cd.. The newer material Firepower & Redeemer are good records but Their best work after Halford rejoined are Retribution & Nostradamus..

Yes, they're currently working on a new album. A 2017 release was "planned", but with the release of Turbo 30 this year, I doubt it will be released this year. They will probably release their new album sometime in 2018. According to Richie Faulkner, a tour is planned for 2018. So that would make sense.

They reunited and Angel Of Retribution was no big deal. Halford had done some great solo stuff. Priest had done a few good songs without him. It seemed like together again, they would be able to produce even more great stuff than before. But their reunion album was a fucking joke! Goddamn Lochness Monster song was 15 minutes long. The album had a light tone to it. Some songs were fast but not heavy. It had less great material than Point Of Entry. Much of it was Painkiller wannabe shit! There were a few bright spots on Nostradamus, Redeemer Of Souls had better stuff than Angel Of Retribution, but not by much. And it was produced horribly! Firepower was supposedly good. But not one classic song on it. Nothing new. It it was NOT any form of metal. All Priest has done since Painkiller is attempt to convince people they are still good. It's like they are running for office, auditioning more than focusing on music. Metallica had a top notch album a couple years ago and they were the same age then as Priest during the reunion. But they didn't act like 75 year old geezers. Halford has been a fucking codger onstage since 2003. Hunched over, reading teleprompters, voice is dead. Judas Priest : 1973-1992 RIP.
