He inspired me to study the Bible, not just read it. Whereas the professors in seminary and bible college...especially seminary had no such effect on me.

I must say this on my behalf with honesty and only because my testimony on my behalf is covenient. I am self taught and born again since the age of 20 years old in 1982. I have been gifted by God after asking specifically in prayer the gift of discerning of spirits, Godly wisdom and knowledge of his truth in the word so that I would NEVER cause another Man to stumble. I read the Bible cover to cover the first time in 1990 after ending up behind bars for D.U.I. and it changed my life in ways not to be imagined at that time. It gave me the scripture bug and has elevated my understanding in direct proportion to the time I have put into absorbing Gods word. In all that time I never trusted any one Man to teach me scripture as Jews do with Rabbi's or Catholics do with Priests in any forum. I had a recomittment to my walk in 2014 that is too deep to quantify right now but suffice to say my life is one of 24 hour a day service and study of Gods Kingdom to come and I have to say Chuck Missler has been a huge influence on my understanding of the line by line, precept upon precept needed to complete my walk for the Lords arrival soon. I have also taken up the study of Hebrew as the root language in my refreshed study of scripture and that along with Chucks many study videos has opened up all kinds of doors in my life, with John Kostick as my go to guy on Hebrew studies. The Holy Spirit compelled me to contact you after seeing your comment to encourage you in your walk and to let you see Gods hand in another Mans life. Ain’t THAT the truth! Chuck talks and reads fast - between the clumsy King James english (no criticism of the accuracy, just the disconnect between my 21st century American English and that of the KJV) and the more-than-occasional density and complexity of Chuck’s teachings, my brain has a hard time keeping up. I usually go through his videos with two windows open - one for notes and one for the video, with my finger poised near the pause and rewind buttons!

I think he would be saying, "look at current events, indeed the time of the rapture is drawing near."

I think he was referring to the whole book of Enoch there, not the passage that Jude quoted. I know that the book of Enoch was not included in the Bible, so maybe some of it was not considered inspired by God. I don't know. But obviously that part quoted by Jude was. I've tried to read/listen to the book of Enoch, but not been able to stay focused.

@@sheilastanaland I do believe that at one time the book of Enoch was accepted as sacred but not inspired. I may be wrong but I thought that was true. I have read it several times and it seems like many of the other apocryphal books. I see it as sacred in that it simply expounds on God's WORD and gives a clearer picture like many other writings but I won't go so far as Chuck did to say that it was a false teaching. That's just my opinion though and I'm not well educated - just curious and I always go back to the WORD for confirmation. Thanks for your answer! Be blessed in Christ!

It is not in His Living Word. Do u really think God in all his glory and creator of EVERYTHING wouldnt have made sure that book wouldve made it in His Living Word if he chose 4 it 2 b in there? I personally do not believe so. Prayers and much LOVE 2 u!!!!

​@@ChildofGod-q7j I do believe it would have been in the combination of Books we now call the Bible. Obviously, God has that power and I think the same as you do about that. However, the Book of Enoch was included before in the Bible along with the other Books of the Apocrypha in the early church. These books were all taken out and what's interesting is that the Book of Enoch has only been rediscovered in these last days - as it says in the Book itself just in time for the last generation before Christ's return. Now, if it was written by Enoch - which I believe it was - and carried over through the flood by Noah - which I believe it was - and rediscovered just in time to be translated for the entire world to read even after being taken out of the Bible just in time for the last generation - well, then THAT I believe is certainly God's mighty hand at work also!!! So I certainly believe my brother or sister that this Book given to Enoch - seventh from Adam may very well be Our Lord's Holy WORD - because yes, we both know He is that gloriously powerful and awesome! Agreed. There is many debate among scholars about Enoch 1. I think the phrase Chuck used to discredit Enoch was a weak argument frankly.

Rapture as defined is transported while ascend is RISE to heaven. "He has risen". The result of physically dying. "The wages of sin is death". Since Jesus died without sin he used his wage to pay our debt. The "emortal body" is Jesus's alone until after judgment as those waiting are spirit.

And in Isaiah 27 from verses 2-6 ... It explains verse 27:1 in another form of typology as with 26:20,21... 26:16-19 would be more like typology for the church then God's Wrath.... 26:20-21...

Chuck did NOT believe in the evolutional gap theory. There are TWO gap theories. The one Chuck thought was possible was BEFORE creation of the world. What happened before God created the earth. It said it was without form….and void. when did Satan fall? When were angels created. God is eternal, has always been here so obviously much happened before he created the earth and humans. Chuck emphatically believe in a literal six day creation. You should do his Genesis study if you haven’t, it is well explained. Chuck denounces the evolutional gap theory of each day of creation as a thousand years etc.
