I get what they mean though, not everyone is truthful and honest and they think they can just use abuse they have never been through because they think it's beneficial to them and it trivialises the crime as a result. But we all need to assume everyone is telling the truth, because the real victims could get overlooked and that's the danger!

It's very legal for an employer to set hours for employees. As long as they're paid for the hours they work, that's all that the law requires. Overtime is generally any hours physically worked over 40 in a workweek. As long as the employee is not exempt from overtime, they should be paid. Check with the US Department of Labor or your State Wage & Hour office regarding your status for overtime.

Here we go again with the childhood BS. I spent most of my childhood in the state's care - horrible parents - both dead and I've never had ANY trouble with the law. Never been arrested - never been to jail. That's the case for most of those who had "bad" childhoods. Grow up people.

You can’t be serious….just because you’re strong enough to not let your bad childhood affect you or your future, that’s not the norm. I think she might have concerns, but that doesn’t waive her judgment. I’m sure she’s had gang members come before her and she does what she needs to do. She follows the law.

Judge Boyd trys so hard to hide her facial expression but they are there. 😂 she seemed quite amused with the defense attorneys grasp at mercy. 😂 that was a he'll of a defense with absolutely no actual defense. This is the exact definition of thrown at the mercy of the court. 😂

Some of yall live sheltered lives and never had to really struggle in your life. I don’t condone violence or drug use or crime. But I will say dude grew up in a horrible situation and a lot of black and white men like me who grew up with drug addicts and violence in the home have no idea how hard it is not to continue the cycle. I committed many of felony and was facing 10 years of prison. I screwed my life up and have had to crawl my way out. It was my own doing but still the childhood means so much. Stop casting judgement and put yourself in their shoes. It’s not easy to do the right thing when you never saw anyone do it as a child

That defense attorney surely knows how to put words in the defendant's mouth in the questioning. Question: if you did a test, would you be clean or dirty? First the shoulders shrug, but then comes HONESTY- he'd be dirty, but not for marijuana or cocaine... [The headline for this video has no validity, either. His tattoos and prior admission by the defendant himeself, are what gives rise to any connection to the Bloods. That particular group or any others of whom I have heard really do not like "former" members to be anything "former"] Then the defense attorney adds to this by saying if he still was part of the Bloods, he wouldn't wear the color blue in the courthouse. Does he mean anyone wearing the color blue is potentially a Blood? That attorney perhaps needs to be grilled; he has on a blue suit.] The "situation" gives him problems for going to work... Not a lovely fella. Not one to be living with children.
