Judge Dredd is a British pop-culture icon that has celebrated, satirised, ridiculed, arrested, and blown up just about everything sacred in UK and US politics for the past 40 years. And he's done it at the gaming table just as much as in the comics.
From Games Workshop to Mongoose Publishing, Rebellion, and now Warlord Games there have been plenty of Dredd and 2000 AD inspired games over the years. Legendary designers like Ian Livingstone, Rick Priestley, Andy Chambers, and Gav Thorpe have all worked on the licence, and there have been countless awesome miniatures depicting the whole 2000 AD family.
Join me as I track down the evidence, investigate the history, and...string together some sentences about Judge Dredd and all his games!

Corrections:
- Embarrassingly I mixed up Brian Bolland and Ian Gibson’s art duties on the original Judge Dredd board game. Bolland illustrated the box and of course Ian Gibson drew the board.
- In 2010 Mongoose separated from Rebellion and became independent again. So by the time Mongoose lost the Dredd licence they were no longer affiliated with Rebellion, which explains a lot!
