40 years ago Games Workshop made a host of board games; one of the classic ones was Judge Dredd. It has now been slightly tweaked and re released by Rebellion. I take a quick look at the new version and reflect on what is different.

After looking at my original vs new copy I cant see a huge amount of changes to cause any major alarms and you could probably use either version fairly interchangeably. All that is missing is the minis and the classic look, this version respects the original edition and is a fine addition to your library of games

A lot of the Action cards have been tweaked. Dredd for example is no longer an autowin card.

Nice spot - I need to go through doing a side by side comparison, another task to add to my to do pile

Sadly no rerelease of Chainsaw Warrior. I even made a two player coop modus for the game.

I miss old GW, before the fall of White Dwarf and support for just whfb/40k. At least we are getting new stuff and some reprints

@@trebormills I played again for about 2 month now after having the for 33 years. The game had some logical flaws. So i overworked all rules. Changed what makes no sense to me. Now, i am sure it is a better game. And we had a lot if fun with my coop rule gir two players. Two warriors against Darkness villains 😎

I feel a bit cheated! Your original set has figures, but mine had basic halma pieces, even though it had figures in the box photo.

There are apparently a few versions of the older edition with different boards and/or figs included. The figs are not great but I do prefer them to the alternative
