I say this every time I see someone blaming teachers because their children are failing!! There’s no accountability in the homes of many parents anymore. It is always someone else’s fault that their child is not performing or acting like they have sense. A child should know their ABC’s, numbers up to at the least 50 and how to spell their names BEFORE pre-school or kindergarten.

Does the judge really believe that he will do what he says? Just ludicrous. After my son skipped school ONE DAY in sixth grade about 40 year ago, the backpacking trip got cancelled, he wrote essays for me over the weekend (subjects assigned by me, corrected w/re to grammar, punctuation, and comprehension, and rewritten) and when he returned to school on Monday it was with the requirement that he would stand on his two feet and apologize out loud to his teacher. On Sunday night, I asked him what he was going to do the next time a friend suggested skipping school. "I'm just gonna tell them 'you don't know my mom.' " Yes, the judge is lovely, attractive, extremely knowledgeable, and "patient". I also think she's a sucker for endless evasions and falsehoods. When these goofballs have done all the violating they have done and are STILL walking free, they have no reason to change. Disgusting. No wonder the country's going down the pipe.

I agree that plumbing and welding are excellent choices for him. I think he should have been revoked though. Having children shouldn’t be a “get out of jail free” card.

How can the defendant be upset ?? He should be upset at himself. He’s making all these horrible life decisions involving children .

This attorney finding excuses for this guy is lying for his client. I'm disappointed in Judge Boy's decision.

Clearly his parents failed to raise him with good values, like completing high school, learning a skill and the biggest one don’t do crime ever.
