My name is Eric and I travel with my cat, “Jax” in a 2001 Chevy Fleetwood Tioga Arrow 24D Class C RV. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round. Here is my gear & some popular questions answered:

It’s so fun to see Jax talk back to you when you say food, are you hungry, not that he looks hungry lol but he does have so much personality. Amazing that a number of single nomads travel with not just one cat but two! Cute video and thank you for sharing the Judy Garland Museum and the other sights along the way. Safe travels😉👍🇺🇸

Love that your back in MN! Parents live in aitkin it’s such a cute town! The lake is pronounced mill , the e is silent! Love your videos on how positive and upbeat you are. Watched another KZfaqr who just had nothing good to say about the area and didn’t even try to get to know the cities. Your lucky you got to see the ruby slippers! Someone stole them back in 2005 and they finally just got them back last month!

Hey Eric - this made my day. I am a graduate of Aitkin High School. Yes, we were the Gobblers! For many years, there was a turkey processing plant right on main street and numerous turkey farms in the area. My parents owned a resort on Mille Lacs Lake (Mill - not Millee - but that's OK). 16 miles by 32 miles in size. Shallow lake. Known for walleye, HUGE muskies, pike and gigantic smallmouth bass. Our resort was in Malmo (sister to Malmo, Sweden) That is just east of you at the junction of Hwy 18 and 47 but I don't think you'll go that route. Very cool you're in my old stomping grounds! GO GOBBLERS!

I remember every year (in the mid to late 60s & early 70s) we would have mini-family reunions, with 2-3 Aunt's/Uncles/Cousins gathering at one of my Uncle's house, cause he had a Big Screen Color TV. ( It was 25 inches !!! ) :D [About the size of a cheap computer monitor now-a-days] The would be a dozen kids gathered around the TV eating dinner on TV Trays, to watch "The Wizard of Oz" while the adults ate dinner/chatted and drank beer/wine/spirits in the Dining room.

I myself love traveling the Great River Road in Louisiana where I currently live. The Great River Road is the most scenic and historic road in the state of Louisiana and also of course watch out for the SPEED SIGNS for your own time saving benefit.

I really like how you’re keeping everything upbeat and positive these days. You turned a corner back there somewhere, and all the haters seem to have fallen away. I love this series of classic American road trips you have been doing. I wonder if you’ll ever make it to Canada, or even Alaska. Happy Camping
