This is a super easy cake to make and that leaves everyone impressed with the result, I'm sure you will love it!
Ingredients (cup size: 200ml)
- 3 1/2 cups of flour (350g)
- 1 cup of sugar (160g)
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup cooking oil (150ml)
- 1 1/4 cup of milk (250ml)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder (14g)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar (5g)
- 1 1/2 cup condensed milk (395g)
- peaches

Pine Bluff!! Drove by that sign 20 times in the 60s and 70s.. My parents would airways say we were married in Pine Bluff. But then you know this must remind you a cobbler made with batter instead of crust. Lol.

My NC aunt buttered a pan. Added a large can of peaches. Topped it with a cake mixture had a stick of butter mixed in it( no eggs or oil or water) . Baked 350 for about 30 minutes. It was a wonderful cobbler.

We normally call that a dump cake. People spread a cake mix over fruit or fruit pie filling and dot it with a cut-up stick of butter or drizzle melted butter over it evenly. The filling and the butter together provide the moisture for the dry cake mix. There are whole cookbooks devoted to this technique, because there is a great variety of possible ingredients and ways of doing it.

I have a couple of questions first when she said 200 degrees is that actually on 200 hundered degree that low and was that cake mix made from scratch? It was jumping from one thing to the other.

Interesting recipe, looks very nice and probably is good too. I'm not a big fan of cooked peaches.... don't like the consistency and it gets too sweet. I'm wondering if pineapples would be good or even strawberries 😃 Thank you for sharing. God bless

I love peaches but it looks like this would be very sweet! I will try it but omit some of the sugar and condensed milk. Hopefully it will turn out good!
