Join us Fam, as we watch Juice staring Tupac Shakur. Everything starts out in a normal way, and in the blink of an eye, someone snaps and makes a decision there is no coming back from. After that, things really escalate. Enjoy Fam!

For everyone wondering why the police chased them earlier at the arcade, here is what I found out: both my parents grew up in this era in New York City in the late 80s and early 90s; my parents are from Manhattan. My mom told me that there was a specific task force with the NYPD that would legit Terminator hunt kids down for skipping school and ditching just to pick them up and take them back to school, as well as snitching to your parents about skipping. All of this was a plan in order to keep gang violence and just over all chaos with youth under supervision and control with students throughout all of Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn. So thats why the police chased them so hard earlier in the film. My mom told me she got caught ounce skipping school to go have some Chinese food, and my aunt looks like the lady from the movie Candy Man, so her blonde hair gave it away as they got caught almost eight times in two weeks. This era was scary as shit and grimey as hell, lol.

@JJgibson1 you ever seen street smart with Morgan Freeman from 1987; one of the most vicious, ruthless characters along with Bishop, O-Dog; check out street smart; it's a rare classic people hardly talk about, I seen 1,2 people do reviews not a lot like this, Juice which is well known

@CocktailFlicks the evil personality of Bishop many analysts say is from not wanting to be like his father that was violated in prison; in the scene where he was first bullied notice what Rodman the bully said

I think it's good that you're open to suggestions and I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend “Fresh” (1994) with Samuel Jackson. The movie comes from the same genre and has been called the most intelligent hood movie of all time by critics. This is probably due to its lack of popularity, which is more likely to be due to competitors such as Menace II Society. Boyz n the Hood and so on, that there is only one reaction on KZfaq, which was actually quite successful, but has remained the only one over the years. Who knows, maybe there will be another reaction to the movie soon, in any case I wanted to throw the title into the ring and at least try to make reactors aware of it, because it's really worth watching, my word on it!

I always thought Bishop went crazy due to heredity mental illness. I you notice his father just sits in front of the TV in almost a vegetative state, and I believe one of the friends even made a remark like "Bishop you crazy like your dad". Always thought the power of the gun was what triggered his downward spiral where his mental illness came out in full

I thought Bishop's dad was crazy due to him being graped in prison. If you go back to the scene where Bishop is arguing with the Latin guy, he (Latin guy) makes reference to it. So not sure his dad was crazy due to hereditary mental issues, I think he had PTSD.

Bishop, his fatger was mentally ill and that apparently was passed down to Bishop. You know you guys are full a different reality which is why it's nice that you are willing to watch some of these movies but it's so clearly out of your depth of understanding at times. Q couldn't tell, unless the police are going to relocate him and his family, which ain't gonna happen. He very stay in that neighborhood being lsbeled a snitch. Even if he did go to the police, they editor have likely arrested him as well. He was peer pressured into the robbery. He was in a tough situation and still only 17 or 18 years old. Bishop is a product of his dna, his environment and years of poverty. No that doesnt make everyone a killer that his through that but it makes a few. We all react to things differently. I grew up in a upper middle class African American neighborhood in the wealthiest black county in the county but i still knew a bishop, a radamez, a Q and a Steele. I grew up friends with some people who later became killers, but i also grew up with a few people that are multi millionaires and are famous, and most of us feel right in the middle. I know this is different from your upbringing, but police have never been trusted by the AA community as a whole and this is coming from someone who had 3 unlces, a father, and a mother that all worked in law enforcement "police" at some point in their lives. And yes i too worked in law enforcement myself. None of use retired officers though. Why? We went all went in during different times in this county. We went in with rose colored glasses thinking we we do good, to only find out that was not the case. I know the inner workings of the police force and i would never under any circumstances trust them fully. I trust them to be them. And when your 18, you trust them even less. Maybe try keying that in mind when watching some of these movies. In the neighborhoods that these movies are set in, police is usually the last option of even an option at all. I do value your opinion and i still love that you are watching these movies. Most of these movies are great but they very rarely get love from outside of the community. Thank you for that. and Yes Bishop Was Crazy ! 😂

Nopem bishop wasnt mentally ill, he was just born black with no father during the 80s like the rest of us. And alllllllllllll of us 80s black niggas are biship. A slave child never to be set free due to circumstances... So before u open ur mouth to talk shit. Fucking shut it. Or end up in multiple dumpsters ccuh.

Bishops father was not genetically mentally ill. He was a gRAPE victim in prison and had ptsd. That's what Radimez was making fun of. That's why Bishop was hyper masculine.. the dad had ptsd from being sodomized in prison. Look it up
