I made this tonight; thank you for the recipe. It was excellent. If anyone is using bigger or more pieces of chicken, you may want to double the marinade! I served it with sticky rice steamed in bamboo basket with home made Thai peanut dipping sauce.

I made this chicken two years ago and I keep thinking about making it again! So yesterday I bought boneless skinless chicken thighs knowing that this is what I was going to do with them. The problem was I couldn’t remember where I saw the recipe that I love so much! Today I sat down with a cuppa coffee and I found it! This is the one and only recipe to use. It is fantastic! It’s juicy it’s tender and so much flavor! I now have this recipe safely tucked away for future use! And people it’s so easy to cook! I forgot I cooked this with the skin on last time and it was delicious so we’ll see how it is without the skin. I think I’m preferring it with the skin on!

For those who want to do this recipe and don't have fresh ginger root you can substitute 1/8th teaspoon ground ginger for the 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger.

In US, we can get grated ginger and garlic paste in tubes in the produce section of the grocery store! Makes for quick prep!

I just made this today - so delicious! I used 4 large bone-in chicken thighs and baked for 50 minutes total. I started skin side up, then flipped after 20 minutes and flipped back after another 20 minutes. Then I added the extra honey and baked for another 10 minutes until at internal temp of 165 F when tested. I let stand for 10 minutes and added the sauce juices. So amazing! I can’t wait to make again and have with rice. 😍😍

i also did the same. i didn't just cooked it for 20 mins because i feel like it wasn't enough. i guess it also depends on what type and how big your oven is.

Actually it works well in a saute pan on a gas fire hob. Just add a wee bit of oil and cook in extra marinade which you can then serve with chicken. Delicious 😋

I have a similar recipe.. Instead of soy sauce I use the zest and juice of either a lemon, lime or orange plus toasted sesame oil. Bring diabetic, I do not use honey. I let it set in fridge for at least 3 hours.

I just made this. Perfect, fast n easy recipe. I only lessened the paprika for my kids. I wondered why the need for garlic powder when there’s already 2 cloves of grated garlic. I followed anyway n it turned out great. I’d say it’s like teriyaki but with a garlicky flavour. Thumbs up to this recipe ! Delicious. ❤️

my experiences with grocery stores is that when chicken starts to reach it's expiration date, that is when they suddenly remove the bones and sell it as "boneless". so if you buy "boneless" chicken, you should cook it immediately and not let it sit around in the fridge for 1/2 a week.

That was really nice ! Except it really needs to be cooked for a hour really. And I’m going to marinate for a few hours as well. But it’s going to be one of my favourite dishes!
