The trainer addressed Bell's ignorance. They were practicing the very things folks are whining about.....going through progressions and seeing the field. The trainer was talking him through his motions that's why it was slow. IT'S OTAs in JUNE.....it's PRACTICE! Bell QUIT on the Steelers so his input is worthless!!!

Mike “Greeny” Greenberg is out of his mind. Notice how he keeps saying, “Nothing against Russ.” He has been called out for showing bias and looking like he has an agenda against Russ. Those ESPN commentators are crazy. The Steelers had access to both QBs at season’s end and could’ve easily gone after Justin Fields but targeted Russ because he was their priority. They were prepared to proceed with a QB room with Russ and Pickett. Fields had long made his preference for Pittsburgh known, and the Steelers already knew about that. They weren’t interested in him, even though the price was already low. And Greeny is also ignoring that the price was insanely low for a reason. People can cite Russ being cut, but most people don’t know that the Broncos wanted to keep Russ for another year. He refused to defer his injury guarantee to allow them to keep him without the risk of paying him $100M for one season. Russ knew refusing to defer was his ticket out of Denver, so he refused. In essence, Russ ostensibly dumped the Broncos! No, Payton wasn’t a big fan of Russ the person, but he would be coached Russ for another year…this time without trying to tank! The Steelers wanted Russ so badly that they told him to get early permission from the Broncos to speak with other teams, which was granted, so they could sign Russ before other teams had a chance to go after him. AND THERE WERE OTHER TEAMS LOOKING AT RUSS! Minnesota Las Vegas Atlanta Tampa Chicago Washington NYG Miami (possibly) Every team that might have either needed a new QB due to vacancy or has a young QB needing a mentor would’ve been interested in Russ. And if the new Seahawks coach hadn’t liked Geno, it’s possible that Seattle might have gone after him. Many Seahawks fans wanted him back! The Bears knew about it too. The Bears only found the Steelers to be an attractive trade partner AFTER Russ signed there. They wanted Fields on his next team’s bench. Now give it some hard thought as to why that was the case. Think about Caleb. Think about the Bears’ reason for trading Fields instead of keeping him to compete with Caleb. Think about what the Bears wanted to avoid. Hint: it’s what the Steelers are facing right now. The Bears only sent Fields to the Steelers to burry him on the bench. Why? They didn’t want the dumb noise the Steelers are dealing with right now. They certainly didn’t want Fields being QB1 somewhere and creating an artificial buzz over the first few weeks of the 2024 season. That would potentially affect Bears fans who didn’t want Fields traded, and it might negatively impact Caleb Williams’s confidence. The Bears wanted to send Fields somewhere where he would wind up on the bench, and they saw that opportunity when Russ signed with the Steelers. The beauty of it is that Fields had been asking for a trade to the Steelers, so it was good P.R. for the Bears to at least pretend that they were trying to look out for Justin! The truth is that NFL teams are BUSINESSES! Their decision-makers do what’s best for the organizations. Fields is in Pittsburgh because the Bears wanted him on someone’s bench, PERIOD! They were very confident that Russ could beat out Fields.

Yes, Russell Wilson was already back last year. He would have had the broncos in the playoffs for the first time since Peyton Manning if the defense had not been such a basket case in those first six games. He reported in better shape than ever, he was still getting to the sidelines for first downs, his slides at the ends of runs where it's good as ever, back shoulder sideline throws continue to be awesome and he scrambled to deliver TDs in the red zone.

Justin Fields is a great QB2 as a top 20 QB, but Russell Wilson is proven to be a Top 10 QB1, and has the Super Bowl ring plus playoff wins to back him. The same way Tom Brady had to part ways with Bill Belichick and prove what he can do without Belichick is similar to what Russell needs to do without Sean Peyton. Peyton wants to mold a veteran QB (Russell), where as, Tomlin allows his QB’s to develop but coaches them like any other player. Tomlin will put the fire 🔥 in Russ when needed.

@PatriotWatchUSA I bet you are a huge Kenny "1 Read" Pickett 😂. Can you elaborate on why you think Justin Fields is a crappy QB? I'd honestly like to hear what your reasoning is for the comment you made. No joke either, please explain it to me I'm truly interested in seeing what moronic answer you'll have as to why you feel that way about Justin Fields. If your only defense for your comment is "Well look at how he played in Chicago" then you have no knowledge of Pro football. I'll be waiting patiently for your response so that I can bust your bubble on your false opinion of Justin Fields. I swear there is always going to be someone who is negative or a "Hater" up here in the comments. But once asked to explain there thought process as to why they wrote what they did in the comments I never get a rebuttal with actual factual proof to back up or give any credit to there comment. And last time I checked you just like myself are a fan of the Steelers and if you aren't then that makes sense and correlates with you asinine comment. And the other dude you @ to make your remark on Justin Fields can say God damn if he wants to. For one it's a free country last time I checked and 2 who died and mad you Police of the comment sections on KZfaq? So God damn the God damn. I look forward to seeing what you'll reply with and I thank you even though I highly doubt I'll get an answer back from you. #can'twait #Goddamn #nochance

For as athletic and dynamic Justin Fields is, he cannot run a 2:00 drill without turning the ball over. In his development as a 2 year starting college QB, Fields only played 1 game that was close in the 4th Quarter. Fields threw a pick in a playoff loss to Clemson. Situationally, that is not enough reps in close games. Consequently, Fields has been a disaster throwing 8 of his 9 INTs in the 4th Qtr of close games or a 2-minute drill at the half. Fields needs to watch closely and learn how a Top 10 All-Time 4th Quarter Comeback Artist in Russell Wilson handles that situation.

True, Justin Fields threw a pick in a Playoff Loss to Clemson. That was the Play-Off Game in 2020. Can I ask why you didn't tell us what happened on January 1, 2021? It was the 2021 ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL, Ohio State Buckeyes vs. the Clemson Tigers. The two Quarterbacks was JUSTIN FIELDS for the Ohio State Buckeyes and TREVOR LAWRENCE for the Clemson Tigers. Justin Fields Play was STELLAR. Justin LED the Ohio State Buckeyes to a 49-28 ALLSTATE SUGAR BOWL VICTORY over the Clemson Tigers. Justin SET a Bowl Record, THROWING FOR 6 TOUCH-DOWN PASSES and RUSHING FOR 427 YARDS IN A SINGLE-GAME. Justin was also named the OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME. Quite impressive wouldn't you say for a Quarterback who can't run a 2-minute Drill without turning the Ball over?

The Steelers wanted Russ so badly that they sneaked and stole him before free agency even began. That means the Steelers had obviously heard rumblings that other teams were interested in Russ. And Baker Mayfield signed quickly either to the Bucs because he knew they might go after Russ! He made sure he got his deal done before Russ hit the market. So Greeny is wrong all the way around. What I’m trying to figure out is why ESPN is trying so hard to force Russ out of the league! Who is pulling these puppet strings? It’s impossible for that many sports journalists to be THAT dumb as to continue promoting false narratives about a QB that everyone says looks great! Somebody powerful is trying to get Russ out of the league. I want to know who and why, although I have my theories.

@@lt4564 It actually popped up on my feed. I tried like heck to root for Justin. We all did in Chicago. After a few years he made it difficult to root for him because he couldn't read defenses or comprehend. His brain is slow. I will take my chances with the Heisman winner. It's still the Bears though, so you never know.

Russ is the MAN in Pittsburgh! ESPN and other NFL analyst doubters will definitely eat their words this year! Russ is a proven Playoff and Superbowl caliber QB. He will have a successful rebound year and will take the Steelers to places they haven’t been in over a decade. Just stay healthy and learn Arthur Smith’s offensive playbook and he’ll go far fir this team! Fields will have his impact too with special designed packages that take advantage of his playmaking capabilities, particularly in the run game in the red zone. So happy to have both players on the roster with Russ being our starter all year long!!! 🙏 🏈
