And that means he has some bad habits that will take years to break. So, why does anyone believe he can start over Russ? To be fair, Russ developed some bad habits too, but they were Pavlov’s Dogs responses to events that happened on the field, not due to a low football IQ or inability to read the field. That’s the difference. And Russ is accomplished, so he deserves the benefit of the doubt, even at age 35, which isn’t young but not old either.

At Denver last year He was 28 for 35 with 335yds and 4 Tds (with only one, but great receiver) ... I understand its just one game but I think it shows what he can be. Add his 2nd to none Qb running ability. I hope & bet he ends up having a terrific/ very solid at worst career ( especially if he stays a Steeler)... Not to mention a QB winning over the Chicago fan base which I don't believe has virtually ever been done is absolutely nothing to shake a stick at by any means.

Not quite the same thing. Don’t know the origins of the QB position? It was originally a run-oriented backfield position. You should look up some history. I’m a real bears fan and for all the real bears fans we are glad he’s gone. It’s about time the bears are able to move the ball in the air. Fields didn’t have help but the o linemen lost so much money cause he made them look worse, the receivers that could keep playing in the league but are 3rd 4th options on good teams but can still play are now out the league cause fields couldn’t find them open ever. He never even gave his guys a chance with a 50/50 ball he was gun shy, the game was moving too fast for him. His numbers against zone defense was ridiculous he won I think one game in his career against a team that played mostly zone defense throughout the game or some crazy stat like that. @@AdamB34he didn’t split Carrie’s ‘cause he’s inefficient! Warren and Harris are two different type of backs. That like saying Kareem Hunt is inefficient to Chubb! They complement each other. A two headed monster gives more production and cuts down on injury. Warren is not an every down back, that’s why he effective. Smaller backs can hit the hole quicker and linemen can’t see them until they’re already in the backfield.

@@emavelous 🤣🤣🤣🤣... you CLEARLY don't know what inefficient means because Kareem Hunt averaged 3.0 ypc last year, do you understand how BAD that is? It is one of the worst in the entire nfl lol. It's HISTORICALLY BAD. So bad that when Chubb got hurt they moved Jerome Ford to the #1 rb spot, not Hunt. Also, you seem to not understand that you can't blame the oline for Najee not averaging more yards per carry when his back up averages WAAAAAAAAY more per carry 🤣🤣🤣... how is it the oline's fault when Warren WAS 2ND IN THE LEAGUE IN YARDS PER CARRY FOR RUNNING BACKS?? Same oline, same coaches, same offensive scheme, same offensive coordinator and yet Warren was SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. Najee Harris 2023: 284 touches 1,205 total yards 4.2 yards per touch 4.1 yards per carry Warren 2023: 210 touches 1,154 total yards 5.5 yards per touch 5.3 yards per carry Again... same oline. Same coaches. Same offensive coordinator/scheme. So how can you blame the oline??? Warren was only 51 total yards behind Harris ON 74 LESS TOUCHES 🤣🤣🤣. Do you understand how insane that is? Wilson is supposed to start based on Tomlin's statement, but don't be too sure about what Justin might have learned through practice so far. Omar Khan rejects these so called truths about Justin. He says Justin is having a great camp. That's straight from the horse's mouth. I'm sure Omar know what is real since he has prime access to the field, players and coaches. Get a grip. Training camp will separate the men from the boys. The guy in the pole position might not be as secure as everyone seems to think.

When it's a white QB, people will say he needs time to throw the ball or they need to get him some receivers or he needs an offensive line. How can you be accurate if the team is trash year after year? Then the black QB has to run for his life but he is expected to stand in the pocket and shine.
