You don't actually need head phones. And for those people that say its fake watch the wheels and her fading. Yes she may have practiced this set a lot but its not fake. And she is counting the beats if you watch her mouth. Just because she is a female does not mean she can't DJ! Grow up people this is not the 70's/80's where it was mostly men DJ'ing! Well done!

JB Drone yeah also look at where she clicks to cue the first song. Also all she is touching on the mixer is the mixer nobs and eq, also notice how when she "uses the Eq nobs" the song doesn't change. Plus she barely uses the actual que button. And this has nothing to do with gender

What is so difficult on it? This is not real mixing, just fast crossover from impact to impact. If you want real mixing, you need a headphone so that you can follow the beat and fine tuned with the pitch mixing in while the beats playing, not where the beats stop...just record CD's where start the impact, same bpm and you have ready CD's that start directly on the impact with same bpm, so puch start, just switch your faders fast that's it. Mix with vinyl without help of bpm etc.. And see if the mix are great as now. I don't think so. For skills do it on the old way, then you can say I'm a DJ, cus you need the attention to follow so that it stay sync without any help of modern buttons.And mixing with the beats while playing. Btw There was aslo female dj's in the 80s, 90s with skills. It's not about grow up its about skills without help of technology, cus most works that do is the technology and not the skills. ;)

If your questioning the ability of a dj mixing without headphones, then you obviously don't know the ins and outs of mixing to the full extent. Don't Diss pure class. Juicy m is pure class. I think people at this point are usually doing one of two things, either a boob comment or looking at someone who said something about her not using headphones for a 4 Deck and then copying that comment, pretending they know what they are talking about. Can't we just enjoy some good mixing without a circle jerk/shitstorm of comments berating someone? No wonder everyone is leaving youtube at this point, the system is fucked as well as most of the people who come here... But anyway, great vid, Juicy!

You know one of the best indications that you've made it, is when the community of DJs who defend the status quo are all leaving negative comments about how they think you should perform your art. They can't get past the fact that it's possible to mix without headphones, and it takes time to prepare a harmonically sound set, and cue the right tracks. These guys and girls who post no videos, are even hating for "prepping" a routine. It's a freaking VIDEO, even A-Trak and Craze practice routines for videos. Fact is, the whole DJ community will ignore every video that shows Juicy M using vinyl, scratching, and all they see is an attractive girl, doing what she loves, dancing, and couldn't possibly have any talent. Well you know what, you made it, to the point where it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. I don't care if they call me a fanboy, because truthfully, anybody who has demonstrated, they can handle real vinyl, scratch, mix on them without headphones, get down on Serato, AND arrange harmonically keyed 4-deck routines, has my respect as an artist...man, woman, fat, skinny, hot, or ugly.

This set is definitely not pre-recorded. And for those who think shes not mixing because shes not wearing headphones.. you better get over it. Djing is about knowledge. Juicy m is very smart.. she knows how music is constructed and can easily mix very quickly. She may use the sync button.. but without them you can't make live mashups. And for those who mix many years they know how much to pitch a track to sync it. GET OVER IT! Im 100% shure.. people who make negative comment are just jealous because they cannot mix like that, they think its impossible.. Congrats juicy m for your mix! By the way.. that video made not only me but many many other male dj's shut their mouth. Because we though girls can't mix.

DJJOHNNYKNOX so you say that she pre-recordetd that set before? umm ... lets think ... you say that if we can hear the buttons tapping, the sound (of buttons) must be recorded live... as I understood it. So why the pre-recorded set still does sound great, if she plays it speakers to microphone? ... Oh she doesn't ... so she added the pre-recorded set to finished video and she was training and memorizing every move just to fit video to the sound ... SERIOUSLY MAN !?!?!?!? why lie just to lie? why do it the hard way? What I see there is live performance with 2 sound lines ... the first is the "live buttons" and the second is the actual set. Long story short - DJM 900 nxs record output + live (like microphone) just switched at some point ... yup ... this is not a single output you hear as you said but someone made a good work here ...

What she does in this mix is definetely not easy and is obviusly not pre-recorded, I don't know why she gets so much hate she is a great DJ. By the way, about everybody complaining about not using headphones, if you already know the tracks you are gonna play and at what point you are gonna mix them you can easy do it without headphones, headphones are just "help" but if you already know everything you are gonna do you don't need them

Why is that a question ? It's like saying to a person who drives a train, if you can't drive a steam locomotive, your not a train driver. That argument is getting old. 1210 are mainly hip hop and hobby djs. No pro dj uses that today. I have been a pro dj for 17 years, I haven't been to a club/festival where 1210 where even part of the gear, since the 90's

Just because she's not wearing headphones does not mean it's fake or prerecorded. This all can be done through preparation with created cue points, auto song selection on the board, and memory from repeated practice. There's no need for headphones if you already know what songs you are going to play and how you are going to play it + when you can use sync or see the BPM on the displays of the board so there's no need to beat match by ear :)

If you actually know anything about DJing you'd know that this isn't fake...all of her transitions match her fader use, along with her using cues. And that spin in the beginning was pretty solid. Also go to 7:00 and you'll see more evidence that it isn't fake. Cmon people, it's one thing to call out things that are prerecorded, but it's another thing to just be a plain hater that has nothing else to do other than trolling videos to talk shit on.
