If you compare it to competitive powerlifting or anyone serious into deadlifting in the industry, it's not impressive. Otherwise it is. Your view on it is just warped.

Most gym goers cant even break the 300 lbs mark, and that's even weighing more than 165. A 3X BW lift is extremely difficult and and signifies a true strength athlete no matter what body weight you're at, And 2.57x is not that far off. Plus, Tom is a natty, not sure what more you want?

I wasn't ego challenged by Toms lift because I can still do 5 plates a few times and haven't dead lifted for 5 years and haven't lifted for about 3 ... about 4 weeks ago I went to the gym twice then anytime fitness closed when they closed the country down to save the groups of people who already have 1 foot in the grave .
