First, let me say that the two gold standard versions are as stated -- Judy Garland and the amazing Eve Cassidy (RIP), the latter being my fav. Julia delivered a great, unique version. Not Garland or Cassidy, but her own version. I applaud that. Her vocal control is amazing. Whether she wins or not, Julia will have a long career in music because no one with a voice that good, with that level of control will be out of a job! She CAN sing anything and do it well.

Best yet! Amazing! She's is in her pocket finally! But I will say this girl growing up where and how she did...she was always Accepted it was her own insecurities and past that didn't let her realize that. Respect to her family and to her strength 💪❤️ hopefully she realizes that now.

Julia has sung beautifully every week. Hopefully some folks will stop voting for sentimental reasons and vote for the most talented singers befitting the title of American Idol. It would be great if voting results were due to actual nationwide voting. Many potential voters are commuting home before they can see the program so can't vote by the last commercial of the show.
