Julian Barnes wasn't very helpful when I contacted him via his publisher. I told him about the condition Retroactive Jealousy and asked what had informed his portrayal of this in his novel -'Before She Met Me'. I also suggested he could take a role in helping people with this condition who identified with the character. He really didn't want to know. A great opportunity for helping people was wasted.

as an ex ussr person i would be very surprised if western politicians find anything that was good in socialist regime, the only good thing i can recall was my parents and my childhood, and those two had nothing to do with regime, it was good despite the regime :)

lol zero down votes thats rare for newsnight videos, hopefully someone as the bbc will see this and realize its viewers are sick and tired of the no platforming crybully authoritarians and start becoming actual liberals
