Unstuffed Peppers
2 bell peppers (any color) diced
1 white onion diced
1lb ground beef
24 oz marinara sauce
1.5 cups water
1 cup uncooked white rice
Pinch of Salt and pepper
Pinch of Crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 oregano
1 cup mozzarella cheese
In a large pot add the ground beef, peppers, and onion cook until ground beef is completely cooked now add the marinara sauce, water, rice, and seasonings simmer covered for around 25 minutes on the stove or until the rice is cooked. Make sure you stir frequently well simmering so the rice doesn’t stick. Once the rice is soft add the mozzarella cheese let it melt and then serve
