@@ashleys4652 thank you for your kind words. Her health will never get better unfortunately. She was born with spina bifida, all her nerve endings was in a ball at the small of her back. After many surgeries she was able to walk. Unfortunately the spina bifida has won and she is now confined to a wheelchair. We have been married thirty years and I ain't gonna go anywhere. She's as beautiful today as she was back then. Actually she's more beautiful.

Julia, can I give you a tip for shredding chicken? This has saved me so much time in the kitchen! All you do is use your hand or stand mixer to shred it...I will never go back to hand shredding again! Also, can you share how you made the beans that went with the taquitos?

Not sure why I’m just now finding your Chanel but I’m in love. My family was over my attempts to recreate KZfaq recipes but your beefy noodles recipe won them over last night, it was a hit and will definitely be on rotation for future dinner meal! Can’t wait to try that curry recipe!

If i may make a suggestion....add about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of milk to refried beans and they'll come out creamy and smooth. Another option is a hlf stick butter both depending on the size can of refried beans. But im sure milk is healthier option. Despite my name (married last name) i am of Hispanic lineage. Maiden name is Roldan. But seriously try it. You'd be amazed! Love your channel and wholesome content! Keep it up!

My family LOVES butter chicken! We have it on a regular basis, very little spice kick with a creamy tomato sauce over rice. I found the sauce in the ethnic aisle.

Just love your recipes! I wanted to tell you that I have tried your ground meat grease removal trick using paper towels wrapped around a spatula. It works GREAT!! I have always used some sort of straining method using a lid or colander. Not only are you handling a hot pan and hot grease, but then you have to do something with the grease you collected. Sopping it up with paper towels is GENIUS. So, thank you for teaching me a new trick.

I sure will didn’t get to make the empanadas we’re in Texas and we had a snow storm and lost power for 4 days and no water so I didn’t get to cook them yet hopefully next week when they get back to normal I can make them.

Tip ; swap milk or egg for Dijon or grainy mustard, if you're dairy or egg allergic. I always do, when using breadcrumbs snitzel style. It works on both chicken and pork. And for italian style vegetable "meat" balls.... Greetings from Norway ❤🍽💙

I made the coconut curry chicken Ms. Julia, with orzo instead of rice, it's so good. I couldnt find red curry paste and don't have coriander. But I think its amazing. Thank you for the inspiration. 💜

You can also lightly grease a pan and heat tortias till soft to roll them. Great idea on the taqitos! Less oil my husband likes to fry them ugh ... I just barely spread oil with paper towel. Baking sounds great even though I use evoo He likes to use regular. Hopefully he likes baked.😊🙌🌷
