They were there for the birth of children and they have that sort of verbal shorthand that is only possible with old friends. What a gift to see it!

Maggie Smith on her first New York play found herself stuck in town without any money, no place to stay and was trying to hide her tears on an elevator when Julie Andrews recognized her got her nicely settled made sure her money arrived and they were also best friend forever too. As a matter of fact Maggie, Carol and Julie are a three woman party whenever they meet.

How beautiful is their love for each other. This has me crying. I'm almost 70 and I have watched and loved these wonderful talented ladies since I was a child. They have given me many laughs and beautiful singing. May God bless them with many more years. Thank you for posting this.

I'm 22, and I absolutely love both Carol and Julie ( Julie especially ). They both make me smile every time I watch them, and watching this just made me a little emotional.
