@@arthurpalermo8395 i think what he is saying is many mistake their front as confidence since it is this mask you wear in front of others to hide your true self. It's extremely effective psychotherapy. This video is old, but it impacted my life without me realizing it. I've done this exact same thing with certain people. The problem is that when you need to do a cognitive task it puts you back inside your head. So you constantly need to remind yourself to let it go when you're done with the mental tasks

The key to the exercise is to learn to be comfortable with yourself. In the exercise its julian who actually has the issue of being disgusted, but that's not your problem. In this exercise the focus should have been redirected to julian and attempt to explore why he is uncomfortable around the individual. Again this is a role playing experience. Understanding that it's you who give others authority over you, or it's you who allows a feeling to be experienced. It's all you who has the ability to control who you are. You make your self afraid, you make yourself to feel happy, you create and allow the feelings you experience. You are the creator.

He said to be real and that’s when I realized it’s ok to show your true emotions. Even if they are not positive. Just be respectful on how you deliver those emotions onto others. Don’t hide them or make things up. Express how you really feel in a polite manner. And you will be respected.

I've learned to be charismatic and magnetic from RSD but inside I feel like I'm always holding back because I don't want to lose the approval. I get the quick win and I exit, it's like a dirty high that I'm protecting. And I feel so dumb because I'm using so much of my energy on what? Wanting others to like me? Micromanaging myself to be accepted by people I don't give a f about? So dumb

That first 10 minutes must have felt like an hour for that second guy lmao hahahaha. This is an interesting way of exsposing our deepest insecurities. But honestly, I just think this would make me even more anxious getting up on a stage in front of people in the future. I agree yes, after being up there feeling uncomfortable for a while you properly get used to it for the amount of time you're up there, but when you go home and sleep on it, your brain only stores that uncomfortable feeling which will trigger as soon as you have to do a similar thing again. I for example always hated doing presentations, and people always said "the more you do it, the more you get used to it". I have done it quite a few times, and it is just as uncomfortable everytime. I properly have a ton of trauma. I was always the quite type who got bullied as a kid, and I am aware of that. I have gotten better at being social and better at small talk, but presentations and stage presence is just not my thing. Also I feel exhausted when I've been social for too long. Maybe I'm autistic or some shit like that. But this would be waaay to intense for me. I would be like number 2 guy but even worse. I might even run off stage in sheer panic, shaking and then lauging my ass of in the car, of how uncomfortable I felt but at the same time feeling like a coward. It would be cool feeling total comfortable in akward situations like this.

Damn I just found this video This being the second video I'm watching and man this hit home My dude up there on stage, feeling the nerves, the anxiety etc... It gave me flash back to the 1st day I went to teach my 1st class (I'm a teacher) And damn I went in thinking, they are just kids I can do this And I went in n I reverted back to my highschool days n I couldn't speak, my voice disappeared, I started sweating n trembling And I ran out of the class shaking, super anxious and feeling the fear, I teared up but bit by bit as the days went by I concurred it Right now I'm taking a training and I found myself being the smart kid who responds to every question the teachers ask, when I used to be the super silent kid in class who only talks to 1 person. If you are someone who got severe social anxiety or anything like that, just face it go to the point that it makes u tear up n remember that feeling n how not as bad it was than what you thought it would be. N thanks Julien for doing what you do

when he said "fuck your ego" i was so into it that I felt a pulse of slight pain in my chest and stomach. It was my ego and my pride. It felt so threatened that it told me to stop. And now that's exactly what I have to get rid of.

I've been thinking about this conversation since the video was streamed and I kept thinking about the problems gta players have with Rockstar Games (😁 I'm a gta player), youtubers with youtube, me and my relationship with my parents too, for some reason lol. There are things in all three of them that I agree and disagree with. With gta, there are many things like modders I hate. However, to say I hate my favorite game for that reason, I would be lying to myself. There are examples of youtube and my parents that I do not want to make an example of, but it resonates the same 😁. In that, there is nothing wrong with disagreeing with something or someone for some reason if done in and by good faith in accordance to ones moral values and or boundaries, what is most important is ones control of self emotion and the ability to communicate it respectfully and successfully!

We need more In-Field sarging testimonies. Being rejected due a cold approach is the easiest way to loose all poker face. I am from germany and rejection can not be hidden. People must see themselves. They must be filmed due their first steps into adolesence. Besides, I love your podcasts! Germany is listening.. We are so used to polish our profiles on tinder that we forget that, Ross Jeffries and other old school brothers did their narrative practically by trial and error. Now we have cutting and editing tools. PU has changed
