Juliet drives the Citroen C3 Aircross

I love how the Citroën C3 Aircross was made to stand out. And stand out it does. There are very few cars on the road that look like this. If they do, they are likely another Citroën. And that is what Citroën wants; to be unique. To stand out and not be run of the mil. This car has its quirks, but it is certainly very comfortable to drive. I thoroughly enjoyed driving. I would more than likely still opt for something like a Volkswagen T-Cross over the C3 Aircross or even the Peugeot 2008, but that is not to say this is not a great option. As car reviews go, this should give you a brief introduction to the C3 Aircross. Hopefully it helps with your car buying decision making.

I am glad there are alternatives to the usual cars you know. I am tired of seeing the same old same old on the road. But for me the price is an issue

Yes! Peugeot 2008 FTW! :D I love the road rage. I also react to people who drive as if they're the only ones on the road. I consider it arrogance of note and the red mist descends! I need to show my wife your videos cos she thinks it's just me.

81kw wow my 98 corolla conquest.i had at one stage use to punch out 85kw and was a lot lighter so power to wieght would have been far better

Nice review, but another cool alternative is the Suzuki Vitara 1.4T auto, it has more tech in it and spec than that car at the same price, or depending on where you buy it from slightly cheaper

@@astonwinter The WRV is nice but the engines are unrefined old engines that come straight out of a Honda Brio/two generations ago Jazz, and the gearbox comes from a Brio too plus no auto option for R350 000 it's not good value for money

Good video but in my opinion I would recommend the Honda WR-V, Yes not doing all that well in sales but has about the same fuel consumption and looks better. This Aircross looks like a robot pig. The WR-V comes with the famous i-VTEC 4 Cylinder and Prices start at R307 600 were as the Aircross starts at R401 900

The WR-V as I mentioned in a reply on my comment is not good value for money, it's based on really really old technologies, the engines are over 10 years old with a really unrefined non performance v-tech. You must remember that Honda build eco v-tech engines and performance ones, that's an eco one. The car does not even come in an auto it's going to do very very bad as the market looks for something of better value. This is why the Suzuki Vitara Brezza/Toyota Urban cruisers do so well, it's new tech not like that WR-V. And I am not hating on Honda, in fact I owned a Brio with the exact engine code as the WR-V and exact gearbox for 3 years. Very expensive servicing!

Personally I think the aircross is way more characterful than the WRV. It really stands out looks wise - looks like a fun toy car! I'm disappointed there aren't more interesting looking cars out there as so many seem to blend into one another. But then it's all objective isn't it.

There are many ways to be different but perhaps one of them is not to venture down the road of purchasing a French car here in SA. Let's be realistic that these things don't have a great resale value so when you buy one it's literally for life lol. Be different with your clothes, cell phone and other arbitrary things because you'll be able to recover relatively quickly financially but piece of mind unfortunately is going to come from one of the more established brands
