I have an older 2008 model 2.2 crdi Elite and I love the car. when I originally bought it I specifically went for all the space as i upgraded from a smaller car. I have mine for almost 5 years now and can honestly say I have used my third row seats about two times. what does put me off about upgrading to a newer model is the fact that the resale value is very poor on Hyundai cars as the dealers themselves offered me way lower than trade for mine at the time. I agree with a lot of the comments below. At a premium price range you would expect that it will at least hold value over the next 6-10 years.

The Elite is actually the top of the range with all wheel drive.... The executive is the lower level entry model

Could not watch this video yesterday very busy at work. What a lovely car with its warranty of 7 years even the price, I was expecting over a million for that. Given me, a second thought Juliet on this car. Definitely going to add it to my list. A wonderful presentation about going for the same cars all the time with South Africans and a Toyota. Yes, it has been a reliable car but cars nowadays are good like this Hyundai. Thank you Juliet

I love this car. Premium pricing is a shame. Especially when the touchscreen is smaller than and bumpers aren't fully colour coded like the models overseas

I just wish SA-bound Santa Fe's would get the same spec as those bound for international markets. We get an inferior (smaller) infotainment system. Even Hyundai's own website shows different (incorrect) interior pictures...... It's all in the detail Hyundai....

I see an Elite advertised as an AWD (Hyundai Santa-Fe R2.2 Elite AWD DCT 7 Seat) whereas I heard you say it is a front wheel drive - correct me if I misheard you as I am considering a Santa Fe Elite?

The engine is not new but it got a power upgrade coz that 2.2 motor has been with us for quite some time now. Great vodeo🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️

As per the dimensions and the performance data it might seem an upgrade of the well known engine but instead it is not. It's a complete new development and much better than the old CRDI.

Fortuner is R200k cheaper and has a resale like no other. Hyundai have their heads in the clouds.

Don't know why people would consider the Fortuner. It's a high risk vehicle in terms of theft and high jackings... They Hyundai also looks way better.
