It does look really nice. A lot of reviewers seem not to like the touch screens by the climate control dials. You’re not alone on that. lol the singing and music 😂. Great video. Thanks. 🙂👍🏽

I saw one at a Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Harare Zimbabwe and the fact that the front and the back look like a Velar puts me off.

Great vid as always!!! One question though: how long do you get to keep the cars as an auto journalist? I mean I doubt they just give you a car for a day as you can’t get a feel of what it’s like to live with.

This car’s direct competitors are cars like the BMW X4, Mercedes GLC Coupé or Porsche Macan. They are all priced upwards of R 700,000 with the Evoque having the lowest base price. The Evoque has the off-road advantage over the others. I think it’s the best looking of all 4 too.

No, she's actually quite tight. Google it and you will find out. This car competes with the Volvo Xc 40, BMW X1, Merc Gla and Audi Q3. It's a compact SUV.

HERBERT leitner what unreliability? I have a Freelander 2 which the first Evoque was based on. 277000km to date and nothing serious that any other car suffers. My BMW, Triton and Hilux had more recalls and issues in the 2009-2019 bracket. My fL2 also does all the heavy towing and a ton of off-road. I would rather tow 2 tons with the Freelander than carry a ton in a bakkie like I had to today. The evoque will be fine.

Sean Fenwick You’ve literally got a video of your Freelander having start up problems on your channel 😂😂 I won’t bore you with the endless problems I’ve had with my wife’s old Evoque and current Velar, (which is in the process of being rejected and sent back to LR)
