He’s doing chest touch and locking out at the top which makes it much harder than what I see a lot of powerlifters do, this is an insane feat of strength

@@lucasbrandt5501 1. you wont see powerlifters not touch chest and lockout, since it's literally required in competition 2. julius is technically also a powerlifter 3. its mostly the bodybuilder guys doing the form you mean, where they dont lockout and have that weird motion at the elbows.

@@kris985 You need to touch some grass if you think the average person be benching 225 for reps. I guess 225 is the new 135.😂🤦‍♂️ If you actually believe it is common for people to bench 225 for 15 reps then you either don’t lift or you are delusional. Most people I see in the gym are benching around the range of 135-185 for males with reps and for women they are benching between 45-95 pounds for reps. In my 8 months using a public gym I have only seen about 4 to 5 people bench 225 for reps. The other amount of time was spent in a home gym.

@IronWarrior95
@IronWarrior95 Ай бұрын
@@chancefluke7833 I know what you mean. I have torn my pec in 2015, when I stupidly decided to do an additional heavy set after an hard drop-set. On the 5th rep it hurt, on the 6th rep it tore like a rubber band. Since since then I could never go 100% on chest or shoulder again, can't go heavier than 120kg without my pec starting to feel like it's slowly tearing apart again. Also on longer drives with the hands on the wheel it feels like stitches or small cramps in my pec. I hope it will be better for you and that you have done a surgery to re attach the torn tendon again, because normally it won't do it by itselfl.

Why does it look like the bar path is a straight line?
@IronWarrior95
@IronWarrior95 Ай бұрын
What do you mean? The bar movement should be always on a nearly straight line on the bench press. The bar should normally touch the lower or middle chest with the elbows pulled in and go up and down on a straight line and never above the throat or face in worst case. That's dangerous when the bar accidentally drops and bad for the shoulder joints. Only equipped bench press is different because of the tight bench shirt.

@@jam9297 when power / body - builders get that gut swelling does it go away? And do they live long/ normal life expectation? Because there's some body builders that at 70 and still huge and doing shows so it makes me wonder how bad those PEDs are or if it's just abuse
@leon5537
@leon5537 Ай бұрын
@@nathanielalaburgDelhiit is often due to abuse but imo everything you put inside a healthy body with good natural test levels is abuse. It's always gonna have a negative impact on health. A belly like his will never be flat again and the damage he has done to himself with all the peds over the years can not be reversed. But that is his choice and what julius does is just incredible. Some organs can recover when damaged others can not. The liver is known for it's recovery abilities but his heart has grown so much due to the ped abuse... he will have increased risk of cardiovascular disease or stroke etc for the rest of his life. He can also get insulin resistance which can not be reversed when it's too late... just stay away from drugs
