Irish teams of recent have been very good. They've blew (mostly) hot and cold. There's something different about this team however ... They play with all the right qualities , most notably self-belief. Even the loss at Stade de France earlier this year exhibited these impressive characteristics, and they were unlucky not to win that game. With good depth and a solid academy system , the future of Irish rugby is looking bright. I can only hope the game will go on to be accessible to all kids of the community (similarly to NZ) , and not reserved for those exclusively from the middle/ upper-middle societal status 🇮🇪

The coaches are a massive part of why we lost but you cannot deny Ireland they played awesome. Also our players on the field should have been able to think and lead on the park in real time. That is why Richie and DC we’re so bloody good! Same goes for Conrad smith and nonu. No excuses we should have been able to adapt on the pitch. I will say without sexton Ireland will suffer massively.

Well done Ireland, I'm from NZ so naturally I'll always be a fan of my home team. The ABs got no excuse, coming off a lost from the 2nd Test, they had time to re-evaluate their performance and paid the price. They had home advantage but Ireland was determined to re-write the history, I have always backed Ireland as they were always written off as under-dogs. NZers are not well seasoned to failures and I've grown tired of how our team and management. Over doing it with the marketing or business in promoting the team, I don't mind losing from time to time. Promoting the team, the haka, the players and the "All-Blacks" as a brand. Honestly, the whole thing is ridiculous and embarrassing. We used to be proud n humble, we used to perform the haka away from home and after the 3rd Test. I used to feel so proud when we would swap jerseys win or lose. Now its not the same anymore. Now we are out for blood whenever we fail. Coaches, management and team. Should all share the blame. I'd rather we lose from time to time, so that we can prepare better for the World Cup more than anything. Well done Ireland, that was the best game of Rugby I've seen in a long time!

Good job by Ireland and we'll deserved. Those that are touting them to win the WC because of this are foolish though. Peaking a year or two away from a world cup has historically proven to be a bad thing. World rugby is in a great place with 5-6 teams that can beat each other on their day. It only takes one card to go in the right or wrong direction for the whole game to change. Predicting modern rugby is much much harder than 10 years ago.
