I love whirlpool ice makers cause you can jump out all the functions like this. I learned of this from a good youtube video and my coworkers at my last job knew how to do it...a good thing about icemakers is not too much can go wrong with them...its either the icemaker itself or the water inlet valve...and could be what you mentioned in this video...but not too many parts to go bad!

I’ve fixed a few older ice makers before just by trial and error. This is a great video though. Awesome stuff.

So once you jump it remove wire and it will work again? I've replaced pump on mine still won't send water. I've pulled line checked that ,no ice build up. New sending unit? Or this jump

My similar unit is making cubes stuck together and water is freezing in the ice bin. Mine doesn't have the screw adjust like some (its like the one you show). Is there a way to reduce fill time or level on this model? I tried partially closing the water valve to the fridge with no success. This is the second unit I have replaced;.. First had burned heater contacts. Thanks

Mine wasn't working. So I bought the replacement on Amazon. Same issue. I get power to the device on L and N, I used a jumper on T and H, and nothing happens. Used jumper on L and V and no water either. It's not cycling nor filling. It's brand new and has 110 going to it.
