Jundoo Railway Dam Campsite - Western Australia

Ай бұрынJundoo Railway Dam is west of the small town of Sandstone and just north of the Sandstone to Mount Magnet Road.
The dam was constructed as part of the railway from Mount Magnet to Sandstone that was opened in 1910.
The dam is still in very good condition and rumour has it that there may be a few yabbies lurking in the water.

Thankyou for that. We went there back in 2019, after a chap at Cliff Heads told us to stay there. He told us to look for the white arrow on the road!! Oh my goodness was that hard to find. He said to us, if you get to the parking bay on your right heading towards Sandstone then you have gone too far!!! I found a little track so we went down there, we stopped and I got out to look.. And...there on the road was a very faded small arrow. We had a lovely time there, a group of us... Thankyou for the memories

What I enjoy the most about your site are the remote free campsites you visit .. I think there can’t be many they haven’t visited and then you alway surprise me with a new one .. keep the campsite reports coming as a major part of your videos 👍👍 cheers
