I've never seen two actors with more chemistry. It's real, palpable, deep. The were the perfect choice to play this amazing story.

Did anyone notice Balfe’s dress? Plaid. She has her hair twisted and pulled back to look less modern. She put considerable thought into her “look” because she wanted this role. There’s no one who could play it as well as she does IMO.

A friend recommended this series to me bc I love plants and history..it took me 5 or 6 years to watch it but I'm in the 3rd season and it's so obvious that these actors made this show real. I came for the botany and history and I stayed for one of the best love stories of our time. I cried when they parted ways at the stones, hoping they would see each other again. If you liked the books I highly recommend the Clan of the Cave Bear series. Another story about a healer and the man she met after losing everything she lived for

Their chemistry is organic, palpable and definitely phenomenon. No wonder their show is a must see for everyone who has a penchant for history and a great love story. ❤ kudos to all the actors, actresses and personnel behind the show. 👏👏👏👍

I’m so glad they changed the lines to this scene. It is so much better In the show and you can see the more caring side of Jamie whereas here in the video he doesn’t seem as loving

As Claire and Jamie Balfe and Heughan have an advantage they’ll never have again: most of the audience hadn’t seen them before. If Scarlett Johansson had gotten Balfe’s part you’d think, “that’s Scarlett Johansson playing Claire.” With Balfe you just think, “that’s Claire.” Same thing if Ryan Gosling had been cast as Jamie.

While I do understand what you're saying, I've seen Sam in other roles and he IS a great actor. e.g. I don't just see Sam when he's playing any role. Same for Caitriona, I've seen her in other roles and she isn't just Cat -- she's a truly fine actor. I believe they are both highly underrated.

Caitriona really honed in and worked on her English accent by the time filming came around. Her voice is definitely a bit lower/deeper in the show.
