Hello! I like that you’re reading Junebug in June. Sounds like a good story. I’ve been wanting to go to Vegas to a spa, but travel seems overwhelming to me right now. I’m doing a 90 Day Bible Reading, so I’m only planning on 4 books this month - NIV Bible, 90 Days book, The Discipline of Grace by Jerry Bridges, and then 1 cozy (either a Cherry Ames or Martha’s Vineyard). Id start with The Road Before Us. Since you’re traveling to Vegas, a road trip story seems timely. I just love your joyful spirit. 💖

Vegas is not my favorite place, but it has a GREAT airport, and I love Gordon Ramsay's fish and chips place. Also, the Bellagio has a wonderful botanical display each season. I LOVE 90 Day Bible reads. They really show Scripture in rich new ways. I felt like it would be such a "surface" thing, but it's totally not.

I have been uncomfortable trying the maid so I haven't 🤣 so grateful for the sleep going on in your house! You know I am waiting on these agency files books....Aaaaannndddd maybe a couple others 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

Eeep! So far I love The Maid. I'm almost through Chapter 5 and there have been... hmmm two? Words? One was a "I may have to chuck this book one" but I kept going. The other actually kind of worked because it hinted that there wouldn't be much in the way of language in this book because Molly the maid doesn't like it at all. She gets really upset over it. Actually, I think there's three. I think there was one more just before I turned it off. She was irked at hearing it. I "wrote" 10k words on Saturday between here and Baker, CA so... yeah. I may get more books written this year than I expected. EEEP!

I just started a Mrs. Pollifax last night. I plan on reading Hashtag Rogue this month. I'm excited about more Agency Files books coming! I think you should read Junebug first to make sure it gets read this month.

Almost did, start with June Bug, but then I remembered that I wanted to take a picture of The Road Before Us in Vegas for Janine, so I went ahead and took that one with me and that meant it was near me when I started reading, so I just started with it. Which Pollifax? I think I'm going to name a character Amy Lovecraft. She'll be as different from Gilman's as possible. Actually, she's going to name herself Amy Lovecraft for that reason. Her real name is Helena. But whatever. LOL

@@AshleasBookshelf Oh, that's one of my favorites! I love Sidi Tahar (or however you spell it) so much. And oh boy is the story fun

And because you filmed it sooner... you missed a book! ;) I have Wolf by Wolf to read this month too!!! No, you had the Miss Primm right. Angel loves it. I disliked that it felt like The Man in the Chair was constantly making her question her beliefs. BUT I did mention 2x that I wanted to try this again at another time. Romance wasn't that much at all, if I remember. YES! I want to know about that classic murder book!!! I HOPE The Maid is good! I really want to read that one but have been hesitant.

Eeep... Nervous about that. I didn't care for The Overcomer but I loved Saving Grayson, so I was thinking maybe the movie ones wouldn't be a fave. Hopefully The Forge will prove me wrong.

@@ChautonaHavig You got it. Movie versions aren’t going to be a fave in my opinion. But Dogwood, Almost Heaven, A Piece of the Moon, Under a Cloudless Sky, The Promise of Jesse Woods, Not in the Heart: all 5 ⭐️🫶🏻
