The coquette aesthetic and vibe has me inspired lately and I decided to embrace it for the month of June! Hoping this will bring us all soft vibes for the upcoming summer ✨🎀

So happy to see your spread. I love the way you create such beautiful spreads. I loved the simplicity of the colours and your theme is wonderful, you really nailed it! Thank you so much. I have started doing dutch doors for my weeklies because you can do all the weeks so quickly and if you want dailies its very easy. I would not start a reading journal in the middle of the year ONLY because I find them so expensive! Many content planners have started their mid year planners anyway so in that respect there is nothing stopping you. I was always told you can start journals at any time, I started in Feb this year and will be finished by end of July! Thanks again for all that you do in this community. 😊

i started my reading journal in April and have found that it didnt matter at all to me what time i started it, since most of my spreads were either collections that tracked things by month, or else were monthly setup spreads. so it didnt matter how many specific months there were

I have a reading journal and I am telling you its irrelevant and to just start. You need to practice and it will help you decide what works for you/what you want to put in/ pages you don't want to add. Its all practice. It all helps. And honestly, I have to get a new journal before a year is up. I just read too much and it takes up pages for all the other stuff I put in it too (readathons, bingos, tbr lists, fav of the month, stats, etc. Etc.). Just start. Be creative and have fun. It should bring you joy. 💛

@@lunar.inspiration I totally agree with it, just start and you can figure it out meanwhile what works and what does not. Also if you have some data already in your bujo and you have the stamina or dedication you can transfer them into the reading journal, if you felt that you still need the whole year there.

@@lunar.inspiration Great! I have restarsted one of my reading journals a couple of months in 2 years ago I think :D because I did not fancy the look and my OCD was killing me. :D By the way your spreads are stunning, so I am sure you will do great with your reading journal as well!

oh thank you so much, you’re so sweet!! 🥹 honestly i just learned by looking at images of caligraphy on pinterest and trying to replicate them, after some practice you start to get the hang of it and you figure out your style! there are also a lot of caligraphy tutorials on youtube, so watching some might also help 🥰

I have a reading journal but mine isn’t based on a calemdar yr. I like it so much more because there is no pressure to try to finish a journal in a yr. I also don’t have monthly spreads.

I combine my reading journal with my monthly spreads. I have all my functional monthly pages then I have a book tracker & then I make spreads for particularly interesting books. Might be an option to trial whether you like that type of journalling?

Hi, I really like your june setup. It's so beautiful. I wanted to know what size was the bullet journal? I'm just getting into the bullet journal world and I like the size of yours.

thank you so much! 💕 this one is a B5! it’s my favorite size for bullet journaling, it’s a bit bigger than an A5 without being huge or super bulky (in my opinion). it fits my hand size better and ot gives me more space to make all the spreads i need and still decorate the pages a bit. hope this helps! ❤️
