We picked up a bag of a wildflower mix from the Loveland Nursery in Colorado and the success of Larkspur and Poppies has the neighbors stopping by and saying how much joy its brought. Bonus, we don't spend time mowing the area now!

Awwww I think this has been my favorite video so far! It’s just so pretty there!! You are always just so sweet and have such a relaxed and happy presence about you. However, this has been the most natural and beautiful show of you, your husband and your amazing farm 🥰 It speaks to my heart ❤️ My dad has always planted fields and pockets of wild flowers, sunflowers with buckwheat and rye, clover, corn…. throughout his 100 acre property to feed everything that lives there. As well as a massive garden to share with family and friends!

Ugh, I too have had hungry little creatures (rabbits) visit my cut flower field. They ate every single Strawflower and every Statice! I feel your frustration:(

Great video … one correction however - Rosa ‘New Dawn’ is not a David Austin introduction. It is actually a sport of Rosa ‘Dr Van Fleet’ and was introduced into the trade in the early 1930s by rosarian Henry Dreer.

Birds do that to us- pull the plants out and leave them. Then they get down in the soil looking for bugs.

Your flowers are beautiful. I am interested in the buck rose shown 15:28. I am not a rose grower (don't think I'm ready as a gardener yet to take them on in my 7A mid Atlantic humidity). Knockout roses are grown a lot around here but I think their form looks too shabby. I prefer tea roses, but your buck roses are lovely and I'm wondering if they would be easier for me to try. What variety is the light-medium pink at 15:28? Thanks!

Beautiful! I have a few things planted and waiting to mature. I also have some seeds that I want to direct sow, but making beds for them is hard in this Florida heat. 🫠
