Jung Bahadur kunwar's father was Bir narsingh kunwar and his father was Ram Krishna kunwar, and his uncle was Bal vadra kunwar who fought at khalanga fort with British force, they were migrated gorkha from kaski to join in PN shah soldier. Today's all Rana are khas chhetry and, could not be thakuri !!! because they don't have any royal blood in their history.

I am not from Rana or Shamsher family, but as you can see that the developments made by Ranas, although it was for their own good, has helped a lot now. And not like today's politicians who are the traitor to the mptherland and are self-centred; Even though Ranas weren't concerned about the people's development at least they were developing the country and were using the resources properly with their conservation.

Whatever his real name or surname is or was, it doesn't matter much. What matters is he was very brave and cunning politician. He did lots of bad things for the country and countrymen. But he also did few good things. He was a very interesting character though. We all Nepalese could learn many positive things from his both good n bad deeds. Motivations can be from both positive and negative things.

He was patriot. He fought various wars for Nepal. Actually his intellegence we have to thank, that Nepal was never a british colony. Besides his patriotism he also loved his family. In compare to present leader who destroying Nepal and trying divide Nepal in peaces, he indeed was great heroe of Nepal.

Yes bro thakuri are only magar( sen,khad,thakuri,shahi) and few indian migrents like ( chand, shah, pal). Jang bahadur is khas chhetri maharaj. khas chhetri bhanera hepyo bhanera nai kot parba bata shah bhardar ko satyanas gareko ho jange le. yo jange ko santan hoina hola jasto chha. Kina ki gorkhali kuwar haru ahile pani aafulai chhetri bhanxan ta ahile pani kathmandu ma chhan balbhadra ka santan

Yup you are right. Tara hamro Shah raj pariwar nai ho ini haru lai power ma lyayeko. Prithvi Narayan Shah pachi ko sabai kam nalagne nikamma nai thiye raja haru. Padhan mantri lai eti ko power hadapna dine ta nikamma nai hun.

JBR wasn't from a Thakuri family!!.. and I know ranas were autocratic and may be the Shah rulers were also the same! but at least the country had some security and everyone must admit the fact that pace of development of Nepal during Ranarchy was faster than now!.. We all wanted democracy and end of monarchy. What the hell happened good to Nepal after the end of it? CA filled with 601 corrupt monsters destroying the country!... All chhetris who ruled are called thakuris. Rana ruled nepal by hook or by crook, no doubt rana are thakuris. And their roots are from rajasthan rajaputana family.

Jasle je bhanos, Rana ko barema, ya ta Shah ko barema. tiniharu nabhayeko bhaye aaja nepal hundainathiyo. hamro pahichan jati jaat ra barna ma bhayepani, jati dukha ra kasta khepnu parepani sunaulo nepal ko aas ta garna sakne thaun ma chaun. There's another thing we nepalese should do now. Nepal must recreate lord shiva in kirati image and apperance. It is now known that God Shiva is Kirat god and it is also true that Indians have been deceiving Nepali people for all this years because the Indian writers have given the world Lord Shiva image in indian face. But the truth is that God Shiva image and look is just like any kirati man like rai limbu magar from Nepal. I hope people of nepal and india who are educated will want to stop this and follow the truth. Nepal should recreate lord shiva in kirati image and apperance.

Kuwar bisudda khas chhetri ho. Jang bahadur pani bisudda khas thiye. Indian migrent basnet(not all basnets) chhetri le kuwar pande lai khas bhanera hochyauthe.
