Hey boys I been watching all your contents about BTS for 3 years now. And now all the BTS members are really enlisted in military now. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭How do you feel and have you seen any of their videos leaving. 😭😭😭😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think by the end of his live performance, he was overcome with emotion. And I am just going to sit here and sob for the rest of the night……..

​@@user-ui5ol1zm4y respectfully, and I am a military veteran in a VOLUNTEER force so I understand serving one's country, arguing that nobody would want to enlist is an empty argument, irrelevant and somewhat ridiculous, because military service is already MANDATORY in South Korea. As for all other idols and fans protesting and being exempt, they should get better. The belief that BTS members should be exempt is based on the standards for athletes and fine arts artists/musicians that excel in Internationally recognized competitions, due to the prestige and honor they bring to South Korea. Idols are both athletes, artists, and musicians, and deserve to have standards set to recognize their achievements on the international stage. They certainly shine light on their country. Other groups have not yet achieved the levels and awards BTS has. Those athletes and fine artists who have qualified for exemptions have not even come CLOSE to bringing as much prestige, honor, attention, and economic gain to the country as BTS has, so why are their achievements so much more worthy of exemption?? If there was instead an outcry that such exemptions for athletes and fine artists should be eliminated, especially given the population issues you point out, then I believe the controversy over exempting BTS wouldn't have continued. It doesn't make a difference, now, for BTS since they've already enlisted, thankfully together so that they will be back together sooner, but I think it should still be an issue resolved for other idol groups.

kathygriffith, I agree with and appreciate your comments about our BTS. For some reason, while reading your " I'm sure this is so scary for them, but they are sure ti learn some new life skills.", this thought popped into my head: " *Are they going to actually give Namjoon a gun?* " That started a rabbit trail of related thoughts about his no-driving ability, and general "god of destruction"ness. I hope the military has a good position for RM to feel he's making an honorable contribution, but is safe for himself and others.

@@dl7596 one positive thought did enter my mind. Are they allowed to have real guns and bullets in the Army? Are only police officers allowed? I won't rest until I find out the answer to that now. Haha!
