I thought it during dancing that JK had difficulty showing emotion and once he went to the US, in the summer of 2012, he was able to learn that. All the covers he has done, he invokes the right emotions.

SAD. Don't get me wrong. The lyrics are so beautiful, so on point. When I saw ARMY bombs at the concert I kinda associate the song differently from just a mere relationship that didn't go well. This is his feeling of letting go. You're right, feeling of coping. To leave without feeling so much pain for ARMY. That's how important we are to him. How much he loves us.😢

the fact that this was filmed in tokyo so recently with all his ear/lip piecing off.... (likely was during the japan trip he went with Jimin late November...)... It doesn't feel like an official MV that was planned to be part of the album promotion, more like an unplanned film that he just wanna create more content before enlistment This is my favorite song of the album... seeing his teary eyes at the end & how he expressed the pain in his vocal....the Weverse live with hair shaved... again this song... I can't stop crying...18months without Jimin my bias & JK ... RM & V too... I'm so sad already... I need Jin & Hobi back ASAP to comfort me :(

Ohhh watch and react to him singing this live on Audacy too. (Oops my bad, it’s I Heart Radio live!) His voice is just so achingly beautiful. And the visualizer ( and the song) in one word, is poignant: “evoking a keen sense of sadness and regret” And that is how he uses his vocals. You can hear (and now see) the sadness, regret, pain, and internal conflict ( it’s not the truth, it’s not the cure… I know I’m wrong for doing this to you, but this is the ONLY way I can keep myself together). Some of these songs, not all of them of course, are Jungkook talking about his love for ARMY. Please Don't Change is one of those, if you follow the path he dedicated to the ARMY. It is clear from the viewer section of this video that for him this is very personal between him and the ARMY. The girl in the viewer has purple hair clearly representing ARMY and she disappears leaving him alone. Then you see ARMY representation at a show. Some have posited that this is a way for him to deal with the sadness of leaving the ARMY behind as he heads into the military. It's such a bittersweet moment for him. He wishes ARMY had done something horrible to him that would have made it easier for him to leave. He knows the ARMY would never do that to him.✌💜
