The first Vlog was Jungkook's first GCF video and the Japan trip was supposedly his birthday gift to Jimin . I find it especially endearing because Jimin had been saying for YEARS prior that he wanted to go on a trip with JK. The video was such a wonderful surprise when it first dropped. It has a special place in my heart.

Keep in mind that jungkook looks up the lyrics to the songs he uses so that he understands exactly what they're talking about and he can match its intention. Even the songs he chooses matter. Jimin and jungkook are together so often that people who work behind the scenes at concerts have said that they've never seen jimin and jungkook separated. Korean fans refer to jimin and jungkook as the otters because they're always together like a pair of sea otters.

It’s funny that you mentioned not knowing if you have seen them together much when they are almost always together behind the scenes you can mainly see this when Memories is released. They also perform a lot together too they have said they just click. Like their cover of we don’t talk anymore, mistletoe/Christmas Day, own it dance performance, black or white performance and more. Tokyo trip was a birthday gift from JK to JM and GCFT was a surprise to jm. He didn’t know Jk was gonna post it! These two share an amazing bond and they are absolutely endearing together!

jimin and jungkook are incredibly close, i don't think you've personally seen much content of them but they've probably collaborated on the most vocal/dance covers together among the members and they've driven in the same car together to schedules for years as well. they call themselves the late night buddies because their sleep schedules are whack, so they hung out at night a lot together😭 they're probably among the pairs of members who've spent the most time together, actually. when bts's yearly "memories" dvd drops, full of hours of footage of bts preparing for schedules that year, a bunch of that content is always jimin and jungkook interactions, so we joke about them being stuck together sometimes. even the staff say they're always goofing around behind the scenes. oh, and they both come from the same hometown - busan, and often talk to each other in the busan satoori (accent). just wanted to add some knowledge for you there.

to piggyback off of literally everyone else, jimin and jungkook have an incredible bond. when they first debuted, a lot of army called them push and pull bc that was a very accurate description of their public relationship at the time. when one would push the other would pull. now it’s common to see them called 해달’s, which is sun (해) and moon (달), but 해달 is also translated to otter, because they’re always together like swimming otters.

To G.F.C Tokyo It was a gift for Jimin, where jungkook prepared the whole trip and subsequently posted that video... Jimin said that if he had known he was going to publish it, he would have dressed cooler. I really like their friendship, on stage they have an amazing chemistry

GCFT is so heartwarming. It was a birthday gift for Jimin. Namjoon once said that Jimin likes to take Jungkook everywhere with him 😭 sightseeing, trips, everything lol and since they were younger Jimin had been saying he wanted to go on trips with Jungkook I think it's safe to say that Jimin is the main model of GCF. He would tease Jungkook and say he's the main model, then Jungkook would tease back like "he's just always around" but Jimin is the first gcf, gcp and gcs. It's cute 😭 GCFT and GCFS are my favorite ones. GCF Saipan (I think I spelled that wrong) is so beautiful. It's so pretty to watch. Jungkook always picks the perfect songs to go with his videos too

Jimin is JK main model, he is always filming Jimin and takes a lot of pictures of him as well. In all GCFs JM has more time in the screen than other members, except in the documentary. Also, the songs are very important, they bring a significant message. JK is very talented, he is a shy person, but through his videos he expresses himself very well.

I think Jimin is goofy around the members most of the time, but he can be really serious and content too especially during interviews. As mentioned in his song 'Filter', he has many sides inside of him and he knows when to put up which persona 😊 Also, Jimin is definitely one of Jungkook's closest members. They're often seen glued together and seem to get along really well. They also came from the city: Busan!

Yes they're huge in Japan and even though people do recognise them the Japanese are imo one of the most respectful fans ever. Bts and other groups in general can be out in the public without getting approached by the fans even though they might whisper, point at them or maybe even saying hello to them. Sure, ofcourse there are fanatics in every country but I can't remember hearing of any mishaps by the Japanese people so I think Japan is the most comfortable country for kpop idols to visit :) Please do correct me if I'm getting ahead of myself :)

3:27 You is absolutely right. We are seeking Jimin through Jungkook eyes.. On Jimin birthday 2017 he posted a picture of Jimin saying happy birthday and it is not over yet.. This is a belated birthday present for Jimin, Jimin was being his natural truth self. Only to be shook later by this..

I BELIEVE JK put this together and released it as a belated birthday gift to Jimin. I could be remembering this incorrectly, but I DO know Jimin didn't know JK was going to make this. :) From what I've been told, the people in Japan are very respectful to celebrities they see on the streets. I'm sure they were recognized, but were probably left alone for the most part.

Jimin's relationship with Jungkook is very sweet. Jimin is Jungkook's playmate. Even Jimin's younger brother was jealous because his brother was always there for Jungkook.

FYI: They went to Tokyo around Halloween & JK said that during their trip, they were wearing ‘The Scream Mask’ & walked around ToKyo for whole day.

The trip to Tokio was not about work. It was a birthday present to Jimin. The GCF Tokyo is about Jimin, it's JK showing Jimin as he really is. JM didn't know that JK was going to make a video and post it. He said that if he knew he would have taken better care of his appearance and behaved differently.

I love the GCF videos. Its so interesting to see the member's through the eyes of someone like Jungkook who loves them so much. I was (and still am) honestly so impressed with how well produced and full of life these videos are. You can really tell how much work Jungkook put into each one.

Just to add, Jimin and Jungkook are extremely close too and they often goof around with each other. They seem to enjoy teasing each other quite a bit but in an endearing way.

IIRC the Tokyo trip was a birthday present from JK to JM, which is really sweet! JM said he didn’t realize that JK was going to make such a nice video or he wouldn’t have acted so goofy lol, so I think it’s a good example of their actual dynamic! I think they're generally noted for being two of the closest members because of how often they spend time together. They’ve mentioned before how they ‘just click’ and I think they probably have a lot in common, one example being their work ethic and love for the stage, which are often compared. JM and Tae also have an incredibly strong bond. I think there’s an interview they did for their song Friends where they talk a bit about their history, if you’re interested in exploring that! If you haven't watched it, I also recommend watching Tae read his letter to JM from Hawaii Bon Voyage, which was really emotional and sweet. I think being the same age allowed them to be really open with each other from the beginning, which is probably why they’ve been noted as the duo who also bickers the most haha. I think JM is just a really caring person tbh, and has always gone the extra mile to look out for his fellow ML members. The three of them definitely look out for each other though! I think JK mentioned before that Tae was the person who helped him come out of his shell in the beginning, and Tae also made sure to integrate JM into his high school friend group when JM first transferred (and was really shy!). Actually the most recent RunBTS episodes highlighted the ML dynamic really well for me! Also shoutout to their unofficial leader jhope, who they constantly follow around haha. But yeah, I really love watching these GCF videos from JKs perspective! I think it gives a really unique look at the way he sees them, and his editing skills are just amazing. Answers to your comments during the video: Important note is that Jimin loves to see the city and he likes to take Jungkook with him. That's why you see Jimin in it a lot. Jungkook and Jimin are quite a popular duo so they are definitely together a good amount of time. Also Jimin is continuesly goofy just he keeps that part more for us and his close ones. Jungkook is the youngest so the oldest often tries to joke with him because he likes jokes. Just how JK loves to joke with his hyungs. These videos is a way for JK to express his passion for videotography and takes the opportunity to film his special trips. JK enjoys to film these because he likes videos over all and ofc his brothers while we love it because he captures the stuff we can't see. Jimin and Jungkook has been closer and closer with one another the older they got and now when Jungkook and Jimin has more found themselves they click even more than when they were kids. Taehyung has a "empty" face but is having fun just it might not always seem that way. Jimin just maxes his feelings so he starts laughing. Jimin and Tae is called soulmates in the fandom just because they are perfect for one another. They understand each other extremely well.

The fact about Tokyo GCF is Jimin knew nothig about it and it was a total surprise for him as well as us is what makes this the most precious! This is the Park Jimin at his happiest in a very genuine way! And about vmin, it's just how Jimin understands every need of Tae, even if he doesn't say too much about it. Also Tae is not very vocal about his feelings, people tend to don't care when someone don't speak much about there feelings, but not Jimin. He understands. He truly does. Jimin and Jungkook share the same car for schedules, and they are so close in behind the scenes so it is big possibility to see them together. we've seen Jimin took Jungkook for trips even if JK was not willingly, but he did it for JM, Jungkook usually does concert rehersals more than other members cause he is such a perfectionist, Jimin waits for him and sometimes joins him too. you know, Jimin is a small guy compared to JK and he acts cute around Jungkook to make him laugh most of the time, it feels like Jungkook is the hyung and it is so cute to see their relationship. they have big love, support and understanding for each other. i genieunly value the fact that Jungkook is making these videos, putting effort, showing his passion, artistry and sharing these precious memories to us. i feel like he will also continue his career as a director too, who knows maybe the man will come out as a director of his own solo debut. i'm looking forward to see his future work🥰

This is not just how Jungkook sees Jimin, but also how Jimin IS in front of Jungkook. And we must take to considering that this was their private trip which was payed by Jungkook. The song to the video was choosed and payed by Jungkook as well and Jimin wasn’t aware that this video will be published.

RM and J-Hope used to say that Jimin was the most adult-like of the group. However, when he's with Jungkook and V, and unsurprisingly Jin you can really see his more playful side come out. He and Jungkook are always goofing about in a lot of the behind the scenes content and when Jin joins them it's adorably chaotic. Jimin and Jin are actually really sweet and goofy together. In this video, Jimin and Jungkook were on a short vacation by themselves and Jimin didn't know that JK would post the video, as he hadn't posted any before. Jimin said himself that he would have acted differently/tried to look cooler if he had known. As to whether they were recognized, they definitely were spotted a few times, but Japanese fans are so polite they didn't really approach them. They also went near Halloween so they walked around the city one night in full costumes, so no one would recognize them. Jimin actually made his own little vlog of the trip that he posted in 2 parts on Twitter, because video max lengths were shorter back then. You can probably find it on KZfaq somewhere. The other GCFs are a great watch too. Jungkook clearly put a lot of work into them, so you should definitely check them out!

Everyone is tip-toeing around the elephant in the room. South Korea is a generally conservative, heteronormative society, and while homosexuality itself isn't illegal anymore, gay marriage is not allowed and lgbtq individuals do not have equal rights. However, Kpop groups, especially boy groups, have a thriving "shipping" culture, where fans often hope for two members of the same group to be dating each other. There are a lot of theories out there about why this is, and I'm not going to get into all of that here, but many of these "shippers" would never support an actual romantic relationship between two men. (Note: ship/shipping/shippers all derive from the word relationship) But one kinda/sorta good thing about the shipping culture is that it lends plausible deniability to individuals who are actually a part of the lgbtq community. Fans or members of the public who are in denial about the existence of lgbtq idols can write off questionable behavior as "brotherly love" or "fanservice" done to please the shipper fans. Celebrities in SK who have "come out" are few and far between, and usually face discrimination, harassment, and a loss of income. Nevertheless, many K-Army and International Army fans feel that JK's GCF videos, especially GCF Tokyo and GCF Saipan, are a statement, one that is easily ignored by those who wish to remain ignorant.

To see the relationship between pairs, trios, and other combinations, I guess the best source would be their livestreams. There are LOTS of them, though, so you might need suggestions from veteran ARMYs about which ones shows their relationships the best.

Jimin and Jungkook have a really special relationship. The more content you watch, the more you’ll realize it. For example, you know how honorifics are a really important part of Korean culture? Well, Jungkook often drops the honorifics when talking to Jimin and speaks to him in an informal manner, which I find really interesting considering how respectful Jungkook is towards his hyungs. For example, Taehyung even asked him not to use “hyung” when talking to him in their earlier days, but Jungkook refused. Yet he has no problem doing that with Jimin, ever since their debut. It really shows how special their relationship is. Jimin is also someone who even the hyungs always call mature so it’s fun to see Jimin acting cute for Jungkook and even let Jungkook take care of him instead of the other way around. Also, if you want to get more into their personalities I suggest reacting to their logs from 2013 and 2014, Jimin and Jungkook were inseparable at that time (still are) and always filmed the logs together, while other members didn’t. Since they weren’t popular at that time those logs were more like their diary than something for the fans and to this day I’m sure those are their most raw, unpolished selves ever documented. I’m sure you would find them very interesting!

If you’re interested, I would recommend Jimin and Jungkook's 2020 vlive where they make gimbap to get a closer look at how they behave one-on-one in a more casual setting (it's actually a vlive in 2 parts because they turned the live off halfway through and then started a new one lol)

I feel like, with all the different personalities, one of the things that bind them is Jungkook and his happiness.
