This time at the Quick Speed Shop I'm going Jeepin! I found this 1953 Willys M38A1 army Jeep in the junkyard several years ago. I finally bought it and hope to fix it up and go wheeling with it someday! It's rusty, rough, and incomplete, but is cool and deserves another chance at life. Come check it out.
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

4 wheel locking wheels! At no extra cost. I see a lot of work ahead, young man. BAM! It will be fun to drive when you're finished.

They made it a little hard to load. Later on all the brake drums were smashed loose with my BFH!

F-head is called “Hurricane “ engine benefited from high compression ratio because of a long stroke and a valve in the head.

I wouldn't call 7.5:1 "high" compression. Higher than 6.5:1 in the Go Devil but not high by today's standards. The stroke is also the same as the flathead Go-Devil.

I love to see old iron resurrected but that is a lot of work! May be best to let that one rest in pieces......

Bro I have done the same thing. It took me and my dad about 3 years to restore it. I really enjoyed working with dad on this build. It was the last jeep I got to build with dad. Take your time on the build and you will have a great jeep.

These only came with the F head. Someone must have swapped in the earlier flathead.

The thing about those ( if not mistaken ) have parts made by a lot of different manufactures.

Not sure what you mean, but aside from the 24v electric system and military lights and switches they essentially the same as civilian jeeps. The repop parts support is amazing these days.

$700 which was probably too much, but it has some local history.
