This felt more like a Michael Crichton story, who wrote the original novels. He hated corporate tycoons, in his novels they always met their end in an ironic manner. The cave creatures were Dimetrodon, they actually date back to the original 1993 toy line. The picture of Maisey’s mom at the Jurassic Park gate was from the original filming location before they tore the gate down, and the picture Alan had of him and Ellie was a behind the scenes photo.

To answer your question, no Giganotosaurus was not the biggest carnivorous dinosaur the world had ever seen. It was large, but not the largest. (But In the Jurassic universe it’s the largest) In real life Spinosaurus holds the title of the longest carnivorous dinosaur. Trex holds the title for heaviest and tallest, which makes Trex the actual largest carnivorous dinosaur to ever exist. Giganotosaurus was slightly longer than Trex by a couple feet at most but was lighter and slightly shorter. The movie just needed a new “antagonist” dinosaur to be superior than the Trex. It would have been better if they had bought back the Spinosaurus from JP3 to fill that roll as in the Jurassic universe it is known as the Trex killer. The Giga was just a normal animal living it’s life, but was treated as the villain. The Spino would have fit the “villain” roll a lot better. Im expecting some comments saying that Spino was the largest carnivorous dinosaur in real life and not the Trex as I always do. Spinosaurus was the longest, but recent estimates put it at 6-7 metric tonnes but could have weighed up to 9 metric tonnes for the largest specimen. Rex’s were 8-10 metric tonnes. And Giga was around 7-8 metric tonnes (maybe slightly more)
@redx3816
@redx3816 2 жыл бұрын
Well in the Jurassic franchise it’s stated that the Gigantosaurus was the largest carnivore in the Jurassic franchise thanks to the dinotracker wedsite since it’s canon Giganotosaurus was 15.5 meters long (50.9 feet), 5.5 meters tall (18 feet), and weighed 8,165kg (9 tons), and 15,5 meters long making it one of if not the largest theropod to ever be cloned and yet let’s just remember that this is the Jurassic franchise they love to make up things and yeah he was acted like a normal animal and wasn’t just more monsters killing machine like indominus rex or Spinosaurus and I’m not trying to start a fight or anything.

It is a matter of opinion and there is no accounting for taste. You thought this was one better than the last three Jurassic movies? Yikes! So many plot holes in this movie and just plain stupid things. I was really looking forward to this movie and excited as the movie started but by the middle it was one eye-rolling mess after another. Just a few things: a chase through the city with people going about their business all but ignoring raptors chasing a guy on a motorcycle; one ejection seat with a parachute and it's NOT the one the pilot sits in; the plane crashes with no injuries and they now go BACK and look for Claire; Dodson keeps trusting the one guy who clearly shouldn't be trusted... and the list goes on. If an increase in the number of dinosaurs is all that it took to make it your favorite then it's a smashing success; if a coherent story is needed, it's not this movie.

I have a bunch of mixed feelings about Dominion. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. On the one hand it was a decent sendoff to the franchise, on the other it could have been done better. I would have preferred the dinos to have more screentime and personality, but I thought the human characters made up for it ok enough. They probably could have pulled a Deathly Hollows and split this movie into two parts. I liked the themes that paralleled the series ones' about people who fool themselves thinking they have control and how they react when that control is lost. I can see how the events of Dominion would result from World and Fallen Kingdom. And I like the open end feel it leaves you with. There are a lot of individual moments I LOVE in this movie, but as a whole it could have been executed better. 7/10 stars for me.

Its name comes from those massive claws of his, which can be over thirty inches long! Therizinosaurus and its relatives are related to T-Rex and the Tyrannosaurs, but they've actually given up eating meat and evolved to become plant-eaters instead. Those claws can still make for VERY nasty weapons if they are threatened, but we think that primarily they were used to pull down branches so they could get at the tastiest leaves. And I don't know if you noticed, but one of the main details about this particular Therizinosaurus was that it was actually BLIND.

Most reviews complained there was not enough dinosaur action, but since I watched the extended edition I didn't feel that so much. (And I do recommend looking at it just for Rexy tearing ass through a drive-in movie theatre.) I really enjoyed this for what it was -- the callbacks to the older movies were less overt (Fallen Kingdom had a tendency to straight up copy a bunch of shots.) We got to see our Legacy characters wrapped up in a satisfying way. The worst people get dino-chomped. Raptors go tappy-tap with their long toenail. And Rexy establishes dominance with a big predator yet again by basically saying "if you mess with me I am gonna find everyone else in the movie that doesn't like you, then we're gonna get together and beat you up." Overall, I had fun. I am entertained.

It definitely makes a huge difference on the flow of Dominion with the idea of dinosaurs being loose in the world, the T Rex and Giga having an ancient rivalry, an early locust cameo, and the element of Chaos being full fledged in the world. Loved every single one of these reviews of yours, and I can’t wait to keep following you with Community! And of course we’ll have another Jurassic movie in about four or five years time lol

Thanks for watching. I didn't watch the prologue, I thought when people said that, they meant Battle for Big Rock. I didn't know there was a prologue. I was able to follow the film fine without it, and looking back on it, I enjoyed going into it not knowing what to expect. :) Working on the next Community episode tomorrow. :)

Atrociraptors are basically mutated velociraptors. Since they're bulkier then velociraptors they can't run as fast but they are more durable. Also the Atrociraptors aren't loyal to her but they are trained to follow where the lazer pointer is pointed at.

YOU'RE WATCHING ON DEMAND!? DUDE, NICE!! On a budget of $185 million dollar budget, it made $903 million dollars at the box office. Even though critics gave this movie negative Reviews, 90% of audiences enjoyed it very much. But this is not the end of the franchise, as producer Frank Marshall said in an interview that they might do spinoff films in a few years, with Bryce Dallas Howard directing her own Jurassic movie, but none of the original actors will return.

I loved the shit out of this movie,had such a fun ride in the theater,and now I keep rewatching it and my fav scenes from it! Definitely in my top 3 list of the franchise! Love your reactions as well,man,was waiting for this one! 3:57 yes sir,dinosaurs conquered all the environments,from the deserts to the poles,which weren't covered in ice back then,but they were still dark and snowy during the 6 months of winter 22:33 it was a real animal the size of a giraffe,but it wasn't a dinosaur,it was a Quetzalcoatlus,a Pterosaur,the closest cousins to the dinosaurs 24:17 a giant bird you say? Well,yeah,you're on point,because,besides the fact that this Therizinosaurus is among the ones that could've evolved from birds and not vice-versa,birds are dinosaurs,and many dinosaurs were birds,most dinosaurs had feathers,proto-feathers,many had beaks as well. Birds are evolved Theropods,which is the family of carnivore dinosaurs,that also included some big-ass herbivores with remarkable claws,like this Therizinosaurus,that's why it didn't eat the deer,while it killed it because it's a very territorial animal; fun fact: this specimen is totally blind,so it uses its fine hearing and ultrasounds to detect the deer and the low sounds that Claire makes,that's why it left,it lost Claire's smell and sounds under the water 25:50 that's a Pyroraptor,not quite a Velociraptor,but you were close,same family,Dromeosaurids,and yeah,as I said,the feathers are right,that's a pure genome specimen,but it's still a movie interpretation,not anatomically accurate,as basically every other species in the Jurassic movies,still conceived to be genetic terrifying monsters,and I love them as much as I love the accurate versions 29:37 they look like monitor lizards,yeah,'cause of how they keep the arms and walk,but they're not,they're not even reptiles,they're Dimetrodons,synapsids,a group of animals that's older than dinosaurs,and they're actually closely related to mammals 32:42 it apparently is in the Jurassic movies' universe,but not in reality: so far,the biggest Theropod and carnivore discovered was the Spinosaurus,which appeared in Jurassic Park III,even tho in a very outdated fashion 34:21 ah,dude,I finally see somebody else laughing his ass off to Dodgson freaking out against that poor chair,I thought I was the only one finding that funny af 35:23 it is,and if you want to find out how it got there,you gotta watch the Jurassic World animated series,Camp Cretaceous,we will have that answer tomorrow,with the fifth and last season's release

Giganotosaurus despite thinking that they are a lot in common in being related, is actually false. In fact, Giganotosaurus and Tyrannosaurus are very very DIFFERENT animals and are the same in similarities as saying Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus are both related. Actually, Giganotosaurus is not only closer to being related to Allosaurus, but it’s also more closer to being related to even Spinosaurus than being more closely related to Tyrannosaurus. Theropod dinosaurs like Therazinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Dromeosaurus, Velociraptor, Albertasaurus, etc were more closer to being related birds than being related to crocodiles. There’s evidence of these dinosaurs also having physical feathers, and also having brains that function more like birds than the brains of a crocodile. Theropod dinosaurs like Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Suchomimus, Carnotaurus, Mapusaurus, Torvosaurus, and Megalosaurus etc were all more closer to being related to crocodiles and had brains that had similar functions of a crocodile. None of these dinosaurs have evidence of having physical feathers and are a completely different family of theropods.

Fun movie and franchise. I hate that they cheapened the T Rex, which had the most powerful bite of any terrestrial creature ... ever. Its bite was a bone-crushing vice with railroad spikes for teeth. It has been estimated that it could turn faster than the giganotosaurus as well. One bite to the neck of the giga and it would have been lights out. The giga, on the other hand, had teeth meant for slashing and causing blood loss with a much less powerful bite. The T Rex was the most fearsome beast to ever walk the land on planet Earth.
