Excavation inventory is carried through all 5 islands so if you just stack up some items that are only useful for selling purposes you can go to your broke island and sell them there for some quick cash 11: When you load up a new island and get a new research station built, go back to another island with lots of money. Research is also shared throughout the islands and doing the research on your billion dollar super park will save you expenses on the newer more challenging island. This also works for excavation teams as well. Plop one down on your new island and if you want you can go back to a previous island to fossil hunt for new Dinos.

If you have played sim city or any other game like that before you will pick this up very quickly. My advise is spend a hour picking the game up then restart you will know all the important stuff by then. Very good game well worth the money i am fairly sure Frontier will do a good job adding to it aswell if Elite Dangerous is anything to go by:)

Here's the best tip: Don't get it. I got it on preorder, after loving jurassic park:operation genesis I was extremely excited. At the start it was a truly fun game, and a suitable sequel from genesis, however, as I played, the bugs and issues began to show. There are many unnecessary features such as power stations (and power in general,) which only serve to give the parks ugly pylons and make gameplay just annoying, the game would be challenging enough without this feature. The build space on each island is TINY, it is unnecessary to have a wall that makes "outside buildable area" pop up more than necessary. Terrain restraints are another gripe I have, I think I spend most of my time flattening and smoothing the ground for it to still not place where I want it. The worst thing about this game is the "operation failed" error which pops up a lot when trying to save the game, this got so bad that I am now stuck on the 2nd island, unable to get off it onto any of the other islands and thus unable to progress with the game. The AI is soulless as are the buildings, honestly I could go on, but it can simply be shortened into one sentence, not worth it. :(
