Good push here Abby, and yes that one pc fit so it Was.. 'a Miracle' ah ha. Thinking of what or how to say something constructive. You surely have your Dad's stick-with-itness. Goal oriented person. That corner bead should cover that corner just put a small backer PC in there(inside the corner bead). That corner bead sure is good stuff for outside corners that take a beating. Good to see you wearing a nail bag. They are so nice when in a job so everything is always at your reach and it gets to be muscle memory, pencil, utility knife, tape measure, hammer, square, screw, nail, set punch etc., always right there and remember to return them as soon as you get done using them, I have done it both ways, and the system is the way to go like a Pro. Also , sweetheart please don't stand on your square. Always put it leaning up against the wall or sheet. One might think, why care about it, but there is a reason why the pros taught me that way. Your doing just fine. As you do your drywall mudding , you will better understand why things are done a certain way such as tapers, seems and cutting sheets, better to be an 1/8" short than 1/32" too long and pop the drywall paper out. You are a real go getter and I am learning and expanding my craft also by watching you. Nice work, you are good with a tape measure and seem to have a knack for it. Good job, you should have seen me cringing when you were stepping on your big square.. ah ha. Your an inspiration to me. Thank you. Hope that makes sense. Carry on. 😊

Abby, did you consider making that a faux stained beam transitioning ceiling entry to living room with door stain color vs sheet rock? May have already considered but choosing not to do due to lower ceiling height. Could be a cool feature since you have to embrace the drop down. 3 pieces of stained wood? Can you please do a video that outlines the next phases of what’s going to happen once all the Sheetrock goes up, what will be next on your agenda to get checked off and done. I have a pretty good idea, but you are the Master of your own domain. A list of “ to do”. What are you and Jay going to do, are you hiring out a team to do the tape and float, the tiling of bathrooms and kitchen? Do you have all your lighting fixtures picked out and sourced? Will it be thrifted, or gifted? Any ideas for the bedrooms, flooring or carpeting upstairs?? These are the things that keep me awake at night..
